Starting 5/3/1 this coming Monday. Just wanted some feedback to make sure I’m on the right track.
I will be following the 5/3/1 and the simplest strength assistance program. I just wanted to see what you guys thought of my other assistance work for the days I train. Please give me feedback.
Squat day
Straight Leg Deadlift SST
Hamstrings- Pull-throughs, bands curls, 3x10
Lower Back- Hyper extensions 4x8
Power Shrugs 3x15-20
Abs- Ab wheel 3x20
OH Press Day
Close-grip bench or boards SST
Lats- Standing T-bar rows 3x10
Upper Back- Kroc rows or Sup.Row
Reverse flies-4x10-15
Triceps- Cable Press-downs 4x25
Biceps- Hammer curls or SB Curls 3x15
Deadlift day
Front Squat SST
Hamstrings-Good mornings 5x5
Lower back -Hyper extensions 3x12
Power Shrugs- 3x15-20
ABS- Decline Crunches 3x20
Bench day
Incline Press SST
Lats- T-Bar pull-downs 3x12
Upper back-Straight Bar Row or face-pulls 3x12
Triceps- Band Pressdowns-4 sets of 25
SB-Front Raises 3 sets of 15
