4th Lift in Powerlifting

Push press/jerk as it would easier to judge then a strict military press.

power clean all the way. then military/push press (there are so many fucking names for it i don’t even care any more) is in a close second.

chicken

I would like to see some sort of overhead press added in. I don’t see the point in adding a technical lift like the clean or snatch into powerlifting, the sport as about brute strength, and anyways why would powerlifting have an oly lift in it.

I know there are gonna’ be some haters out there, but I would say we bring back the old Barbell Curl.
I can see why gear-goers would like the chin up though… it just doesn’t suit the sport.

HANG CLEAN OR POWER CLEAN

Peeing for distance.

dick ups

In all seriousness, either the 5 board press, or the good morning. I’d break a good morning world record.

Resurrect the Olympic Press and make sure to add in the proper rules so that no one decides to make the Olympic Press look like a standing Bench Press.

Also, the Power Clean. Or Power Clean and Push Press.

This i like, an ultra strict overhead press should be added. FYI before powerlifting came into existence its forerunner was known as the strength set- 3 exercises squat bench and curl.

I wouldnt be able to do a 5 board press lol my arms are short and my arch is big.

dumbbell row it be what you could combine pull with both arms

on a bench

Log Clean and Press, from the ground. I think it would make for some interesting outcomes on the athletes and the total.

Geared Pull-ups.

Yeah, because meet day isn’t physically taxing enough. Lets add more shit to do.

Fuck that.

Judging the depth on G.M. would be even harder then on squats. My vote is for the military press.
