495 + 60 pounds of Chain Bench

Sup guys? I posted a thread a while back. just wanted to give you all an update. I was doing tricep overloads today. I used my single ply titan ram. My ram only gives me 20 pounds carry over for the first 2 or 3 inches off my chest, so I really didn’t NEED it for this lift. I’m just still taking it easy on my shoulder from my labrum surgery.

So I used it as a safety measure more than anything.
but I went down to a 1.5 inch block, which was more like 2 inches the way it was set. and pressed up 495 with 60 pounds of chain. heres the video.

Damn, son.

Wait, you mean that little elastic band doesn’t give you 300# of carryover and you actually have to be strong to take 500+ pounds for a ride? WTF?? lol

All joking aside, good job man. From someone still coming back from a shoulder rebuild, ease back into the weights. You look young so you still have many years of iron game left in you. Use this time to get better and you’ll come back better than before. Funny name btw, good to see someone have a sense of humor like that.

EDIT: lol at the guy in the back, with the wife beater on. He turned around to watch you in disbelief as you presses that weight. He prolly went home and kicked his dog after that. Is he fucking curling in the squat rack? DAMN! lol

Damned impressive!

No wrist wraps either, now thats raw lulz.
