47yr old first timer

Hi. I’ve been wanting to explore the use of PEDs. Im currently 47, been lifting for about 10yrs, 172lbs, maintaining bodyfat is around 18-20%, never tried any sarms nor roids.

I’ll have my blood work done next week, including total test, free test, estradiol, lh,fsh, shbg etc .

After that im planning to have my first cycle of test c 250mg every 5 days for 6-8weeks. I dont want to run higher doses as I still want to gauge my body’s response to it.

Based on your experiences, would I need AI and pct after this cycle? If so, what is the suggested AI so that I can have it on hand prior to starting the cycle. What is the suggested pct protocol and when to start?

Im also looking into test c dosage options. One is 250mg/ml and the other is 500mg/ml. Should i run the 1ml of 250mg or 0.5ml of 500mg instead? What would be the advantage?

I’ve also read in a few posts that its suggested to use test only for the first cycle, but im also thinking of running 25mg of anavar on the 3rd week of my cycle onwards to help with cutting some fats. Should I go for it of just stick with my low dose test cycle?

How tall are you? You don’t sound like you know what you’re doing with these stats if after 10 years you weigh 172lbs and have avg body fat. If your 5’2, maybe,

Nobody knows on the AI, that’s individual but at the dose suggested I would doubt it. Anyone who is not on TRT should PCT.

Use the lower concentration of 250mg/ml. Higher concentration cause post injection pain in “PIP” for short.

I personally don’t think you should do anything period. At 47, get your, bloodwork done as you stated and consider TRT if low. One cycle is going to get you something of which you cannot keep post cessation. You’ll gain 10-15lbs if you’re lucky on the low dose and after PCT might keep 5. What’s the point?

This is not s good starting point for AAS. At 18% your LBM is 141lbs. Are you 5’tall?

Steroids don’t burn fat. This is done through diet, training and cardio. By your stats you don’t have a handle on any of these.

No. At your bodyfat you are asking for more issues then benefits.

Im 5’5😅

My suggestion to you is start a training and diet log. We need to fix what’s not working before you even think about taking anything.
In the meantime get some bloods done to see what your hormone profile looks like.

Well at least you’re not underweight then. Personally, I would see if you’re a candidate for TRT. I cycled when I was young. I got pretty big, then I shrunk after PCT. Did it again, same results. Unless you plan on blast / cruise or permacycling its a losers game.
