This exercise was mentioned in the “Are you Strong” article ( http://www.T-Nation.com/readTopic.do?id=1563264 )
It explains what the exercise is, but I need a picture.
Anyone got one or a link?
thanks

really?
There’s no way you’re a “big dude” if you don’t know what this exercise is.
I think it is normal Bent-over Rows, where your body is bent at a 45 degree angle from parallel.
The “1/4”, i got no clue.
AllNatural, can you explain what exactly the “45 1/4” is then?
I read it as being a 1/4 BO row with a little leg drive at the start.
So use your legs some, and signifcantly shorten the ROM, and pile on a lot more weight.

The article you link to explains it pretty succinctly:
``451/4 Bent Over Row: Take a barbell with any grip, bend over 45 degrees, and row it to your waistline. Some slight, but not excessive, kick with the legs is okay.‘’
What’s the confusion? It’s a bent row.

Why is it 1/4? is a full 45 Bent Over Row 4 times the range of motion?
