As a re-introduction to resistance training, I’d very much consider Dan John’s “Easy Strength for Fat Loss”, which you can buy directly from Dan John University, but he gives an excellent crash course on it here

He also offers some excellent basic nutritional advice, which boils down to eating lots of protein (and veggies), drinking water, coffee and tea and fasting until training.
