Hi Boiler, we’re very similar. Same age, probably similar measurements, similar lifts. Fat deposits in the same places. I’ve been lifting 3 years.
If you want bigger muscles, increase your calories quite a lot. From the food breakdown you provided I’d say your calculations were off, but I’m not sure about that. You make use of more protein.
Both of us would benefit from leaning out first (better for our hormone profiles and insulin sensitivity), but you just need to pick a goal and go for it until you’re satisfied.
If you’re doing cardio on off days, HIIT would be a better choice.
Don’t worry about the younger guys. They often have unrealistic expectations. Pay attention to your own body, keep a log.
