Thank you - I noticed that you are in NC, if you are ever down in Charlotte the gym where I train 1-2 times per week is Crossfit Strength on Central Avenue. The owner is a competitive powerlifter (RAW) and so they have a lot of great PL equipment in addition to the standard crossfit/olympic lifting set up.

Well good luck there you’ll do awesome as usual. Congratulations man hope you have fun with the married life.

All Thanks to your program. Been running pretty succesfully since we talked altough since i can only really hit events once a month or so I added a speed day more or less for lower body as well I am finally getting somewhere. Still have miles of progress to be made but I am finally doing ok atleast in the local area comps I am sure I would get absolutely raped at Nationals though. But none the less good to hear from and hope to see you in shows down south soon.

What are your PBs in the PL lifts and any other random lift you are good at?

Nice, glad to hear that the program is working for you. I have found that you do not need to train events very often once you are proficient with the basics. You can build a good amount of strength and conditioning in the gym with the right program.

Are you going to compete 200’s for most contests? Am sure that we will run into each other at a FL/GA/NC show at some point - there is one here in Charlotte in March that was just posted on Facebook (By Cedric Woriax).

There are quite a few videos on YouTube and here are a few highlights:

655 lbs x 2 Deadlift (raw, with straps)
510 lbs Front Squat
360 lbs Stone x 3 over 54"
54" Box Jump
Pull-Up’s with BW + 100 lbs x 5 reps @ 240 lbs
1,100 lbs tire flip x 6 reps in one minute
Power Clean 355 lbs
Incline DB Press 160’s x 7

My YouTube page is ‘tmutafs’ and I have a few videos posted through other accounts as well.

Most likely will compete in under 200 for another year or so. My gym lifts are just not up to par( the military just wreaks havoc on absolute strength) to compete in the 231s’. I wanna get a 500+ deadlift, 400+ squat and put 300 overhead before I even consider going 231’s. Have a good eay to go. Sitting around 205 right now and trying to stay steady.

Yeah I agree I have actually noticed since I dropped having a actual event day each week and only hit events once every 3-4 weeks I am making better gains just focusing on getting my powerlifting movements up. Although I do use a axle or log on all ME overhead days.

Freaking strong. How long have you been lifting?

I’d love to take you up on that some time if I find myself down there. I’m in the Jacksonville area, so likewise, if you’re ever in the area PM me.

He mentioned on the other page that he’s been training about 15 years.
