Congratulations! Nice work.

When I started bodybuilding 20 years ago I could hardly bench 90 pounds. And to give you bit motivation: my way frmo there to 300 was much, much harder than from 300 to 400!

Last week I hit 415, which isn’t a huge load, but where the serious weights begin, at least.

You read about Wendlers 5/3/1 progam? Run a search for it here on T-Nation.

Last week I did the following:

264 x 3
286 x 3
308 x 3
330 x 3
352 x 3
374 x 3
396 x 3
407 x 3
415 x 1 no more fuel, but new PB

then some “growth work”, which means 4 sets of 5 with around 350.

is that what you did covering the whole week or in one day?[/quote]

On chest day. I work chest once every 5 days. I usually do something like 6-10 sets of 1-3 reps, ramping the weight up every set, followed by 5 sets of 5 resp. I might add some weighted dips, but normally just do one exercies per bodypart.

its a fail so far…i tried today and got stuck midway!! i stopped all chest exercises for the day and ill try again Thursday! i bumped up the intensity on flat bench to 270… i know what the problem is. ive been off since Friday(out of town for Christmas). i should be ashamed of myself! i gotta get this!!

ill try to bring pic and vid but no promises i usually work out at the gym on a military facility. its empty at night. (in regards to the ct chukula and sickabs forum)

LMAO.

I was going to say post a vid, but NOT to call you out. Post a vid because we could probably alter your technique a little (whether it be decreasing stroke, or using leg drive, etc) to eek out those 10lbs.

lol yeah im not a big fan of sickabs either, so i figured i better do my part somewhat. if i can get one of my fat co-workers to record i will. again its a military facility i need to see if they allow recording devices in that building.

Good deal Boogey. Good luck on nailing that 315.

Good work getting to 305, as long as your not satisfied with it I’m pretty sure you’ll find a way to succeed
