Just found out the bus timetable is changing as of next week and after work i am only going to have roughly 30 mins to work out untill i need to hot tail it to get the next bus…
im currently doing 5x5 and my training usually takes just over one hour… i was thinking to make best use of this time i should superset everything together and take less recovery time? try to get everything in, kind of like in accordance with chad waterburys latest article.

I think following CW’s idea is a good one. Check out his 10/10 book (it’s $20) the fat loss works out are all in circuit style sessions and go super fast.
You could also try this: stick with your 5x5 but…
Squat for 5
rest 60
Pull up for 5
rest s60 sec, back to squats, repeat until 5 total sets are done
Bench/OH press/pressing mvt for 5
rest 60
DL variation for 5
rest 60, same drill, repeat for five total sets.
The other option would be just doing one big lower body movement, an upper body push and an upper body pull.
So…
Deadlift form the floor for 3-5
rest for 30-60sec
Pull up for 3-5
rest for 30-60sec
Press for 3-5
rest for 30-60, rinse repeat.
I like training this way, and it gets you out of the gym super fast. Expect to feel like throwing up if you train circuit style with higher reps, but it’s a good feeling.
i was thinking more something along the lines of a 5x5 push and 5x5 pull per session and then at least one assistance to each movement supersetted together
so for example
Bench 5x5
Deadlift 5x5
then
Close Grip bench 3x8
supersetted with
Good Mornings 3x8
i dunno thou… im toying with the idea of doing some EDT. as i think i want to loss as much fat as possible before i go back to uni which is in 4 weeks. i want that WOW factor i only have this lack of time problem for the next 2 weeks…

two weeks? That’s not awful. If you really do want to loose a lot of fat in four weeks, I would really suggest taking a look at CW’s 10/10. I dropped about 5lbs in three weeks on the first fat loss phase. And the work outs are short.
Could you do 30 mins every day? You could try a body part split, that could take around 30 mins.
i lost 1 stone in 4 weeks there now. weighed on friday!
i want to keep this steam train running…
i was actually thinking of using these 2 weeks to just do HIIT for 30 mins after work each day? with a slight strongman twist… like carying weights up hills… flipping tyres, draggin sleds etc etc
i can do 30 mins every day after work and then as much as i need to on the weekends.
If it’s only going to be two weeks, that really isn’t that big of an issue. In any case, how far would it be to travel? I ask this because you might just be able to bike there and back, which would always be helpful.

As much as needed on the weekends?
Then maybe hit an upper/lower split with an upper on saturday and lower on sunday. Take as much time as needed. Then do a few total body training sessions during the week with the stuff I suggested above on Tuesday and Thursday.
This is a pretty good thread on quick work outs. A good read for those with time limitations. I have the opposite problem as yours. Too much time on my hands.
