I had an MD tell me the same things 30 years ago. I have shot up to 9. Then down to 4. Probably during the spikes I have had prostate infections. My urologist also did a genetic scan, 100 markers for prostate cancer. Not to jinx myself, but I came up 0/100 for prostate cancer genetic markers. Which is a surprise since my mum’s father had prostate cancer. But, he died of mesothelioma. Anyway, this is your log, not mine. Keep up the good work!

Well I know where my dot should go. But where do we put @Andrewgen_Receptors …
Far bottom right
That’s what I was thinking!!! I’m so glad we finally see eye to eye on something.
Bloody Sunday THREE
Meh. Goofed around too much, eating okay but still sneaking sweets. Oh well.
I am upping steps and it was not excited about lifting so I switched to full body workouts every other day and will walk more on off days, and cut calories on those days. I have added ten minutes of incline on the treadmill at the gym.
Current gym days are about an hour of lifting (full body) and twenty five minutes on the treadmill, ten of it at incline. I will increase the incline over time.
Weight is up this morning but BF was 14.5% - day to day variations I expect.
Weekly Ave 188.6 15.0% BF 7,800 steps
AVE BF 15.0%
AVE Steps 7,800
Responding here because of the three post rule.
So I flew 2500 miles yesterday so I can ride with my son for three hours back to his college - he is taking his car for the first time and the drive can be a little dicey.
After we get there, we are taking a tour of a house he and his buddies are considering for next year, then meeting with a guy to rent a parking spot for the semester. Then we will grab dinner and he will drop me at the bus station so I can catch one bus for an hour, then another for three hours, walk a mile and catch a train for an hour before catching an Uber back to the house my estranged wife and I own.
Really, it’s to have three hours of one on one time with my boy.
Then Thursday it’s another 2500 mile flight home.
Worth it.
That’s awesome. ![]()
Bloody Sunday FOUR
Feeling a bit stagnant, but I did travel last week which impacted my steps and workouts, and diet.
Great trip with my son despite a few snafus. The parking space six miles from campus that he rented turned out to be unacceptable so I ended up dropping him and driving his car back home. He wanted the car to drive five hours to see his girlfriend on Valentines Day so he was very disappointed at not being able to keep it. He made the decision and I was proud of him for making the right decision.
I have wrapped my head around the goal being weight loss and have prioritized cardio, such as it is (walking). I had switched to a full body workout every other day to accommodate more cardio but found that too taxing - I felt like I was not getting enough volume, or if I did get enough, I was not able to prioritize walking. So I have switched again.
I am going to do push/legs/off/pull/legs/off and retain the right to skip the second legs day if I feel overtrained. I am hoping to continue upping my steps each week until I get acclimated to 10K per day. That means 7K on lifting days and more on off days.
Because of the travel and other obligations last week, I only averaged 7300 steps per day. That includes three days with less than 5k and one with less than 500 steps, so I feel good about keeping the average up.
A note about weight and BF averages this week - a small sample size due to being without a scale for four days. Weight went up, BF down, but that is not necessarily indicative of a trend.
Weight 189.25, BF 14.6%, Steps 7,290
Bloody Sunday Five
All good
Weight 186.6, 14.7 Steps 10,361
Yesterday when I logged on I was excited because I knew you were going to log since it was Sunday. Now I will b excited for next Sunday.
Have a fantastic week.
Bloody Sunday Six
More of the same. Weight loss is happening but it is so slow.
Heading to AZ on Wednesday, will be there for eleven days. I will need to be vigilant to avoid eating like an asshole.
186.2, 14.5, 9,910 steps per day
@BethB - I have been impressed with your walks. You walk further, faster, with a lower HR than I.
I am inspired.
Thanks. I’ve been enjoying them. My heart rate is super low to begin with. It sits around 40-45 and pops into the mid 30’s when I sleep, so that’s pretty elevated for me. Lol.
Back when I was fit my resting heart rate dropped into the high thirties. My wife couldn’t sleep next to me because my heart would shake me/her. At least that was her excuse.
I feel good when I hit a 17 minute pace on the treadmill and my HR is about 110 then. So, I appreciate your sub 17 pace on pavement with an average in the 90’s - you are fit.
I’ll never forget the “Titty Boy” comments
hahaha that slayed me last deployment
I just had a feeling I would be correct, and I was.
Its my superpower. Its not much, but it’s honest work ![]()
I enjoyed it a ton and showed a lot of the guys I work with that thread lol. We all got a ton of enjoyment from it.
Bloody Sunday Seven
I am traveling and a bit out of sorts with respect to my gym schedule, no scale, no kitchen, so this week’s report is a little sketchy.
Weight 186.00 13.9 9,100 (wt and bf based on three days data - did not bring scale and monitor lol - thought about it).
Bloody Sunday Eight
Still on the road, enjoying myself - perhaps a bit too much. It feels like I am barely eating but when I do, I treat myself. Steps are down. Combined with the food choices, scale isn’t moving as much as I would like. But, nothing new there.
Wt 184.55 BF NA, Steps 8600.
Edit - really just to show how bogus the mod approval process is. A few people have punked lately, as have I. I only post in my threads because the approval process has become so cumbersome.
But, I can just edit my post and it doesn’t require approval.
So the mod approval process is ridiculous. @T3hPwnisher is holding this place together by a thread.
If I don’t get banned now, I will expand.
