25 Days of Pain and Madness

hey guys, i expected a minimal loss weight after the shitty week i had, i told my self that it doesn’t matter if i’m still weighting the same, so i took my scale, turned it on and just stepped on, and wtf??? it said 107.7kg or 237lbs, that’s a 1.6kg loss since last week, WAY to break a plateau ha?.

that really motivated me, i’m gonna train my ass off this week.

5/3/1 cycle3, deload week

Deadlift
1x5x72kg
1x5x92kg

Working sets
3x5x107kg

BB row
1x6x62kg
4x8x82kg

Good mornings
1x6x59kg
4x8x74kg

Lat pulldown
4x8x64kg.

I’m really happy, i hope next week i lose at least another kg.

Then on evening i went to my boxing class, warmed up quickly, then went for a long run, then did 4 rounds of shadow boxing (2 holding DB’s), then i did sparring with my trainer 2 rounds, then 2 rounds of rope skipping, then 4 rounds on heavy bag, then push ups and abs.

This is the perfect log for me to look at before going to bed, reading about all that work makes me really tired!

You are doing a damn good job Tuchavito.

thanks dude, yeah it looks like hard work right?, and IT IS, i’m trying to give my 100%, i’m right on the middle of the race, and i’ve started sprinting to the goal line. It makes me feel pretty good to know that other can see the effort, 'cause that’s how i know that i’m doing it the right way :).

well guys, as i’m really motivated and kinda primed, i bought a fat burner, i don’t know what the carryover will be, i don’t know if i’ll fall in placebo effect or that shit, i just took one pill today before my complexes session and i think it really made a difference, i was heavyly sweating and i kinda felt more energy.

placebo effect or not, i’m still gonna make it.

Fat burning session

Front squat
Deadlift
Romain DL
BB row

Back squat
Good mornings

ufff, all exercise were done in a row, 5 reps*35kg each. 90-120 seconds rest between sets. 6 total sets.

this session was hell, really far from enjoyable, i was heavyly sweating, but i ended it very happy.
i went to my granma house, and they were really surprised, they inmediatly told me how leaner i looked, they were really happy for me, thay even told me how proud they were, that really made me happy. now i suddenly look at the mirror and realize that all the work i’ve done has really worthit.

TC

ohhhh mann!! damn, i just had an incredible boxing session, jesus, i’m so fucking tired, well first i’ll post weights session.

5/3/1 cycle 3, Deload week (thank god)

Bench Press
1x5x34kg
1x5x44kg

working sets
3x5x59kg (did very slow reps)

Chin ups
3x5xbw

damn, on the first set i did 4 continous reps, no touching between reps, on second and third set only 3 continous reps.

Dips
3x2xbw (it’s deload week)

Close grip BP
3x6x59kg (as above).

then boxing session, i got there and had my fat loss pill, then went for a long run. when i got back to the gym i did one round of rope skipping, then 4 rounds of shadow boxing (2 rounds holding 2kg DB’s ufff).

then my trainer told me that i looked fresh, that i neede some work, so he made me spar, i did 2 round with a very tall guy (super long arms) and 2 rounds with my trainer, these 4 rounds rreally took out all of me, i was buffing like a bull, i was so tired, but greatly happy, my skills are improving like hell, i have more confidence, well etc.

then did 4 round on the heavy bag (jesusm i don’t know how i could hit them), then finished with tworound of rope skipping.

then 2 sets of 20 push ups, then 2 sets of 30 reps of abs (raising legs while lying on the ground).i really don’t think i could put any more effort

TC

busy days guys, but still going for the big piece of cake.

yesterday’s training sessions, ufffff

as it was my “off day” i wanted to do some serious fat burning session, again i decided to do complexes (i just read the article, so cool i’ve been working that hard)

BB row
Power clean
Push Press
Back Squat
Good mornings

i did 2setsx6repx35kg per exercise, then 2setsx5repsx35kg, then 2setsx4repsx35kgs, jesus, that was hell, really far from enjoyable, i was heavily sweating, i was wondering all the time why the fuck i was doing such training, but uffff, then looked at the log and, mannn they were only 6 sets, what a pussy

Then on evening i went to my boxing class, my trainer inmediatly sent me to run, i did it, then when i got back he inmediatly made me spar, 2 rounds with a big guy, then 2 rounds with my trainer, jesus i was really tired, then i did 4 rounds of shadow boxing (2 with dumbells), then 2 rounds of rope skipping (to peace my self out), then wtf??? other 4 rounds on the heavybag, jesus, i felt like i was passing out.

then he told me, -good session boy-, then i did my push ups and abs. uffff if i weight my self on monday, and i didn’t lose at least 1.2kg, i’m getting a gun and will shoot everyone i see during ten minutes

guys these trainings sessions are too demanding, i can’t go on on low carbs, at least not that low, i’ve been doing one meal with some carbs, i have it around 3 pm, i’ll see if i can still have the same resulst with some more calories (boxing sessions are far more demanding that those i used to do in my old gym)

so, i’m doing shit tomorrow, just gonna rest, let’s see how i do with weight scale and measuring tape. wish me luck.

TC

well guys, today i woke up really optimistic, but i felt a little weird, yesterday i had some meatballs with pasta, and i think i retained a lot of water, and i couldn’t shit as i always do on mornings (yeah OP was full of shit, literally), i weighted 108kg!!!, that was 200gr heavier than last week, WTF???, seriously WTF???, i trained my ass off all the week, mmm i tried to calm down, i thoug, well it was a deload week, i may had retained some water or gained a little muscle :), so i didnt’ care, also my waist measured almost 121cm!!!, that’s 14cm lost!!!.

5/3/1 Cycle 4, week 1
Deadlift
1x5x77kg
1x5x97kg
1x3x117kg

Working sets
1x5x123kg
1x5x142kg
1x7x160kg, PR!! (i could see that my hams are holding me back, they were really tired at the last set, so now i know my weak point)

PULL UPS (touching floor between reps
4x5xbw

(yeah you read right, i wrote PULL UPS,) i had to touch the floor between reps, but hell it’s the first time i do such exercise, and as i’ve improved on chin ups i will improve my pull ups, damnn it feel really good.

BB row
3x7x92kg
1x8x82kg

Good mornings
1x6x49kg

4x10x70kg

damn, i was really happy for the pull ups, it feel really good, i feel like “da mannn”, a really challenging exercise, now i have another challenge, to bring my pull ups up.

then on evening i went to my boxing class, there was raining a little bit, and i said screw that fucking rain, i’ll train anyway, so i went for the long run, and then whrn i got it was raining really hard, then i said, it’s just water, so we did 3 rounds of sparring (giving all out). then 4 rounds on the heavy bag, 4 rounds of shadow boxing and 2 rounds on the rope, that was all, it was raining really hard.

it feels great to spar under heavy rain, i won’t let the weather stops me, nothing will do.

when i got home i was still very sad for my weight, i rested an hour, and then said, screw this, i’m gonna weight my self again, and WTF???, i weighted 106.5kg (1.2kg less than last week), that made me a happy mofo, seriously guys, i’m having the best gains of my life, my arms are starting to lool like i actually lift weight, my shoulder are hard, i’m at my strongest and leanest, waist line is coming down pretty fast, jesus, i’m so happy.

fat burning session

Front squat
Deadlift
Romain DL
BB row
Power clean
Push Press
Back Squat
Good mornings

bla bla bla, shit, these sessions are fucking horrible, it’s like mind torture to think about doing the next one, mmm .

1x7repsx35kg
2x6repsx35kg
2x5repsx35kg
1x4repsx35kg

you know, everything in a row, 90-120 seconds between sets. nothing special, just melting this lard off.

Don’t let the scale rule your life. It can drive you absolutely insane if you let it. Sometimes progress will come in spurts: no weight lost for a couple of weeks, then 5 pounds the following week. Or even a couple of pound gain, then 5 pounds lost (especially as you get closer to your goal weight). The main thing you want to track is trends. With all that being said, you are doing some really inspiring stuff, keep kicking ass. Losing 14cm off the gut is awesome.

yeah man, you’re right, it has become a fucking obsession, and that aint healthy. You know, on the morning, after my weight session i found an old log, and damnn, i used to do working sets of BB row with 40kg for 5 reps!!!, i remember those sets were so heavy, i was doing super heavy singles with only 120kg on DL, i was squatting 80kg, i could barely BP 60kg, well the point is that i’ve improved a lot, good things take some TIME to come, but they get to you. i’ll just keep fighting, i think i got it under control, it’s just a matter of time.

thanks for all the support dude.

well guys, just another day, nothing special, just trying to keep the fire “on”.

5/3/1 Cycle 4, week 1

Bench Press
1x5x38kg
1x5x47kg
1x3x57kg

1x7x80.5kg

Chin ups
1x8xbw 4
1x8xbw 3
1x8xbw 3
1x6xbw 2

the numbers to the right of the sets are the reps i did without touching the floor, then i rested like 2-3 seconds between reamining reps (8 reps it’s a lot of progrees isn’t it??)

Dips
4x4xbw

still touching the floor between reps, when i can get 6 i will start working on not touching.

Close grip BP
4x8x60kg

Then on evening, jaja, bla bla bla, you know, long run, 4 shadow boxing rounds, 4 rounds of sparring, 4 rounds on the heavy bag, push ups and abs.

my trainer told me that i was putting a lot of effort, he asked me to get my first fight on september 12, i doubted it, he told me that he was fighting to, so that he was supporting me, so i’ll have my first fight next week on friday, i really don’t know how i’ll do, i just know that i will give my 100%.

TC

TC

mmm guys first of all, mmm i weighted mys elf otday and i weihgted 105.5kg!!!:). shhhh, that’s almost 15kg lost since i started!!!, also unless i measured wrong my waist it measured almost 120cm!!. i’m really happy with this progress.

though i’ve been progressing a lot i won’t deny that it has been HELL!!, the boredome of doing the same workout week after week was killing me, i neede a bump, a change, a boost, so i decided to temporally change of program.

what did i choose you’ll ask, well i choosed a Hepburn program (no i’m not crazy, i just want to lift heavy for a while), Hepburn “B” program to be more specific, i’ve done it before, and it worked, so i’ll put my trust in it. (yeah if i feel like i can’t keep on with the program i’ll change it, so don’t worry).

Hepburn “B” program

Deadlift
1x5x72kg
1x3x102kg
1x3x126kg
1x2x146kg
1x1x166kg

working sets
4x1x181.7kg (yep, that’s 400pounds :))
1x1x175kg

i missed fifth set with 181.7kg, so i dropped the weight a little, so my working weight will be 175kg for singles, until i hit 8 singles, then will add 5-10 pouunds.

Bench Press
1x5x39kg
1x3x54kg
1x3x69kg
1x3x83kg

working sets
5x1x90.2kg

Weighted PULL UPS
5x1xBW+10KG

(damn, what’s better than a fat guy doing pull ups???, of course a fat guy doing WEIGHTED PULL UPS:))

Accesory

Close grip BP
3x9x61.2kg

Chin ups
3x8xbw 4

you know, 4 reps without touching the floor, some of the remaining reps were done with a little jump.

damnnn, my hands are really hurting (calluses), but i’m really satisfacted (first session pulling 400pounds.

Every time I jump in here you are making tremendous progress. You’ll be under 100kg before I know it!

Great job on the deadlifts.

[quote]mrodock wrote:

i won’t let anybody dowm

TC

damn guys, i’m really nervous for the saturday fight. i trained my ass off today, i’m exhausted.

Hepburn “B” program

Squat
1x5x68kg
1x3x83kg
1x3x98kg
1x1x112kg

Working sets
5x1x131kg

they felt really weird, like a combination of really light, but heavy as shit.

Push press
1x5x39kg
1x3x56.2kg
1x1x64kg

Working sets
5x1x73kg

i’m really ashamed about this lift, it’s so weak.

BB row
1x5x59kg
1x3x74kg
1x1x88kg

5x1x97kg

i did no accesory work, not because i’m lazy, it’s just that i want to be fresh for the saturday fight, so next weights session will be until sunday.

then on boxing, well, it was hell, the mother fucker made me do sprints, i spared, and did some pad work.

damn, i don’t feel like remembering it anyway, so tomorrow i’ll have another session from hell, will rest on friday, and wellll, gonna throw some punches on saturday. ufff, i’m really nervous, but i’m confident, i have T-Nation on my side.

TC
