That’s how I do squats when I’m trying to isolate and build my quads. It actually gives me a small sense of validation to see a bodybuilder doing them the same way I figured to do them for quad development.
Even though I cut the depth just a little, the constant tension, the high bar, trying to stay very upright, means that I can’t use nearly as much weight.
Yes they are good for tension and endurance in this case. I am simply not wowed by it although when i was doing 3x 10 with 225, a2g they kicked the hell out of me
@brady888 I saw this and thought of your training. Maybe something you could give a go one day when you’re feeling crazy.
Damnit…now I have to try it. It would probably be a 15 minute set
