These 10 mile walks are something else. With my short stubby legs, we’d be looking at a 3 hour trek. Are these on a dreadmill, around the neighborhood, or a park/walking trail venture?

it does take 3 hours. outside, starts out dark, then sunrise, by the time I’m done it’s daylight.

Not OP, but IMO, the high rep sets work a lot better for strong people. Two people using the same percent don’t always get the same effect if the weight is much different.
