20yo male here! How bad is my frame and how i can make it wider (especially bones growth)

Kind of not fair, am I right?

Of course, life isn’t fair, so there is that.

7 months on lifting starts as a skinny fat with horrible posture (btw i didn’t start eat and sleep seriously even in the gym i do my best to understand my body to create my own program)

This isn’t working.

Try this one.

Your body is too close to the issue to be objective. It wants homeostasis. Think about it like your secretary who takes care of the details, instead of it being your boss. Pick a recommended program and diet and just throw yourself against the iron.

If shoulder/bone growth is your focus, this right here.

Or synthol.

Just kidding - don’t ever do that.

DAMN STRAIGHT!

Always floors me how many beginners feel the need to design their own programs.

IMO… plenty of basic " canned " programs out there . At this level pretty much everything works. As long as the program is designed half way intelligent and cover the basics.

Baring some physical or health limitations most of these programs really dont need customized. Down the road, sure a more tailored program becomes appropriate once a individual becomes more advanced.

Sorry… going down my own rabbit hole and getting long winded.

Yup. I was guilty of that. I had a need to feel special, so I thought I needed a special approach.

Hell mate some of us older blokes (and some younger like @TrainForPain ) did alright just doing the workouts they wrote i flex magazine every month. Its really not that complicated, but it is hard, or at least needs hard work.

You should not be creating your own programs. I promise you, you do not understand the mechanisms at work as well as the people who write programs for a living.

I’d put on you Phraks Greyskull LP for the next couple years, or until you had respectable lifts, then move you over to TBJP or something else failure-based.
