Figured you get a kick out of this one.

I feel for ya man, but on the bright side, this is more likely than not Brady’s last stand, and the Hawks can win 2 out of the next 3 without question if they can keep the team together.
You guys have a bright future right now for sure. Pats are in the twilight with Brady, so unless the Sexy Gruf can pull magic out of his ass, its back to not being Title Town after this.
Respectfully I disagree. The fact that both Wilson and Lynch are due contracts would make me uneasy. Historically the QB gets what he wants and the other gets the boot…see Baltimore ie. Flacco and Boldin.
Their DQ was just hired as a HC for Atlanta
Their receiving core isn’t really that good
And the entire team has a full offseason to stew and focus on how their coach fucked them out of a 2nd ring.
(that’s not what I believe btw, but that’s clearly what they do)
I think they’ll be good but I don’t think they’ll be back in the SB next year.
And I think the Pats have a chance to be a lot better than what you’re giving them

Uggg I wish they could of kept Boldin and signed Smith Sr.
Warren Sapp, an NFL Hall of Famer and network analyst, was arrested on suspicion of soliciting a prostitute and assault at a downtown Phoenix hotel just hours after Super Bowl XLIX, a law enforcement official told the Los Angeles Times.
Completely irrelevant question: Did anyone else think that this years SB commercials were really heavy on the feels?

I didn’t notice, my bartender was really heavy on the Jameson.

There was one about dead kids, one with children calling their dad, one that played “Cats in the Cradle”, and I am sure I am missing some.
Edit: And the like a girl ad was particularly stupid.

My favorite was the commercial with the animals getting picked for their homes. The polar bear with the sombrero hoping to get in to Mexico. laughed the most for that one.

Agreed. He is tough little bastard. However, he is a bastard.
Love him in a uniform, dont’ want to be anywhere near him in a bar…
What happened here?
Edelman is one of my favorite players in the league. I wish we had him.

I really thought when he dropped by in the shotgun it was either going to be a QB sweep to the pylon or a QB draw. I never dreamed he would be dumb enough to pass it. With two timeouts, 3 downs, he was in the ideal spot to just grind it from the I. Absolutely no reason to put the ball in the air, but I really think he overthought it. My wife thinks its because he doesn’t like Lynch, but hell if that was the case, just use Turbin.
One timeout. They had to burn one after the crazy catch to save the playclock
You’re right, not sure how I missed that. Either way, plenty of time, even with only one timeout.
The timeout should have been used by Russel to go ask his coaches what the hell they were thinking.

Even if you throw a slant in these conditions, it better be low and have smoke coming off it. Fire that fucker in there so hard if your boy doesn’t catch it, no one else does.
Pete pulled this shit in 2005, when USC played Texas. 4th and 1 and Pete didn’t even have Reggie Bush on the field. We fail to get the 1st down and Vince Young goes down the field for the win and National Championship.
I agree. Or if you make the throw don’t try to lead him, put it in his numbers so he can just fall in the end zone. He led him way to much for only needing 1 yard.

Cosmic law struck again.
Everyone gets their bitch card pulled one day. Unfortunately for Big Sherm, it was on the Super Bowel.
I didn’t have a dog in this fight, but I wanted Pete to pay for what how he left my Trojans.
Best part is “classy” Seahawks not starting a fist fight at the end if the game, you know integrity of the game and everything…
Last I checked when the “cheaters” lost to the giants they didn’t start fist fights.
Okay I’m done with the gloating.
Dude, you didn’t even believe in your team leading up to the game. You kept saying the Seahawks will win.
What a great game. I’m so pumped the pats won, Even though I didn’t get to see or hear a minute of the game.
Never mind.
Blow me if you don’t understand yet. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist.

Confidence tells him he can do it. Coach is usually right. Why second guess? Let’s face it, if not for a very good interception by an undrafted rookie people would be talking about what a great play call that was today. They called that play specifically because they saw that match up, and if they run that play and don’t get in, they’re probably not gonna see that match up again. I really think this play is getting more hate than it deserves. Honestly, what were the odds that was gonna happen?
People can be as furious at Carrol as they like, but there’s a reason he gets paid millions to make those calls, while we’re all sitting in the stands / at home. Winning close games in the NFL takes balls. And not just the deflated kind ![]()
Do have to say though, as rare as it is for me to feel bad for the patriots, when I saw that catch last night I felt bad. If the Seahawks had scored, (assuming the Pats don’t than get into field goal range, and send it to overtime which shouldn’t be counted out either), it would have been 3 lost Superbowls on 3 circus catches in the dieing minutes of the game.
Btw did anyone else think it was really fucking weird that Pats weren’t trying to save clock by spending a time out before that play? It’s almost like Belichick knew that was gonna happen. If they had scored, and the Pats run out of clock on the next drive we’d be talking about how retarded THAT was today. To me that was a bigger mystery than the pass.

For Push, and the rest of you that hang in PWI now and again.
He’ll get it, lol
