I can see McDaniel’s coming up with a way to get 28-31 on the board with a couple turn overs, and I promise if Seattle gives away 5 again in two weeks, it will a blood bath. GB played not to lose, the pats won’t.

Fun with stats: They scored 37 in week 6 against the #2 defense in the league (iirc 24 of them in the second half). How much better is #1 really? They both beat Green Bay, and they both gave Manning a bad day (although obviously the Bills lost). The Pats are a different animal.
The Bills were also #2 against Tight ends, while the Seahawks were #18.
I’d be feeling pretty good about those stats if I was a Pats fan. And what’s really fucked up is that the team who gave the Pats the most trouble in the AFC east is the team with the worst secondary - the Jets. That tells me the secondary means jack shit to beating the Pats, and it’s all about the blitz.
Kam Chancellor v. Rob Gronkowski will be an amazing matchup to watch.
Despite my jealous hatred of them, I’m glad NE beat Indy. I love nothing more than watching Tom Brady lose Super Bowls, so now at least I will have a rooting interest in the game.
Pat’s offense < GB Offense, and GB couldn’t score more than they did
GB offense vs Seattle defense is WRs vs corners and safeties strength vs strength
Pats offense is built different, and doesn’t have to go strength on strength. They are better equipped to attack the weaknesses.
True, and the Pat’s biggest weakness is OLine, which the Hawks aren’t really burning down the house with front 4 sacks…

The other thing too is Pat’s D, and special teams… They have hurt people this year. If Seattle doesn’t think the Pats D will be both smart and physical, just as much as their own, they are in for a long, painful day.
It should be a good, tough game.
It’s going to be fucking epic. I just think Seattle will win is all.

Aren’t you a Pats fan!?! How can you not have faith in your team? It’s like you are convincing yourself that the Seahawks will win to soften the blow if they actually do win the game.

Haha, i hear ya man.
I wish both teams could lose because I despise the loud majority of Hawks fans(they’re like, the NFL equivalent of SEC fans), but like Steely above will laugh hysterically if Tom Terrific loses another Super Bowl.
I guess in a way that means I’ll also be happy with either team winning. Glass half full.
Should be a good game. It’s actually not a lot of strength vs strength, which means it should be an interesting coaching matchup to figure out how to exploit things like Seattle’s pass rush being based on their coverage and not amazing pressure, and the Patriots run D being incredibly suspect, which relieves Wilson of immense pressure(look at how yesterday seemingly turned right as Lynch busted a few big plays, it’s like Wilson was a completely new QB after that happened). Suddenly Kearse has no safety shadowing him, Baldwin has a middle of the field to run in, and Wilson doesn’t have a spy for every single scramble attempt.

Never gamble with your heart man… Vegas opened up Hawks +2.5 and was even money last time a checked… At even money, I’ll take the Hawks.
It breaks down like this:
Pats offense can have an off day and still put up 21-24 if everyone stays healthy and just has a normal/average performance. However, the Pat’s D needs to play the best game of their year in order to stop Seattle.
Seattle has a D that even on an off day will keep the team close enough where the offense needs 1 or 2 breaks. (They had 5 fucking turnovers and only needed two breaks their way (onside kick and the 2 point hail mary) in order to earn that win yesterday). Seattle’s offense plays into the Pat’s weaknesses…
I’m saying pats or off at all, and they lose. Hawks play at 80-90% and they win. Lynch wasn’t on this team, and I’d lay a mortgage payment on the Pats.

So you only like QBs who “allegedly” rape women…got it.
