Holy crap. The fans here have been loyal as long as I can remember, dating back to 1976 when they were an expansion team. So many losing seasons and heartbreaks it hurts to think back over the history. And this is pretty much the first year–including last year–that the Seahawks have gotten any respect whatsoever from the national press. And they deserve some respect because they earned it.

Oh I’m not talking about you guys out west in Seattle, Vancouver, etc… I’m talking about the clowns we get over here in Ontario and the like. Seeing so many people here come out as Seahawk fans in the last 12 months, and than having them run their mouth is annoying as shit.

That’s bandwagon, that happens with any team that is winning.

Or Maybe the Seahawks are just “Canada’s Team.” Lol.

Okay that did make me lol for real.

Great comeback yesterday man, you got to be proud. Wilson is stone cold Ice Man

It’s fine. I don’t think the Pat’s can beat Seattle anyway, so I’m going to enjoy the next two weeks and be done with it. Seattle is a lot like The Ravens, except better, and the Pat’s needed to grab their cocks and plug their asses to squeak out a win at home agaisnt the Ravens so…
I had originally thought that SEA would beat NE but after watching yesterday I’m not so sure. Pats look like they are on fire and they didn’t lose any key guys in the game. Seattle may have a problem with Sherman and Thomas both getting banged up. I think if Pats can come out guns blazzin’ then Seattle is in for a loss

I just don’t see Seattle making that many mistakes again, two weeks in a row. That first half was absolutely insane; maybe the worst I’ve seen them play mistake-wise in years. That said, NE is looking very, very tough. I think its going to be a good game.

Here’s the thing.

Pat’s offense < GB Offense, and GB couldn’t score more than they did
Pat’s defense > GB Defense, however not good against the run or deep threat (speed) receivers, struggle with mobile QB’s.

Seattle’s offense is built on beast mode running game, mobile QB who hits his speed recievers in stride…

Even with/if Sherman out… Pats just don’t match up as good as Seattle does.

Big picture, I don’t even mind losing to Seattle, and I’ve already come to terms with it. It is the old guard trying to fend off the new guard one last time. A franchise that just flat out wins, and wins a lot, handing off the trophy to the Franchise that by all accounts is in for a similar run if their front office can hold the pay scales together.

This will likely be Brady’s last superbowl, and win or lose, I couldn’t think of a better way to go out, as long as Wilson, the coach and Ownership hold up their side of the bargain and win often for the next 10 years.

Ballgate 2015
Fucking lmao… I get it. I’d hate the living shit out of the Pats too if I wasn’t living here and a fan.

As if the air in the ball is why they kicked the shit out of the Colts… This incessant “pats are cheaters” reminds me of the “evil 1%” occupy bullshit.
Honestly at this point even as a Bills fan I have a hard time hating the Pats. They’re like the bad guy in pro wrestling. You can’t help but appreciate the villainy. I’m half expecting Gronk to hit someone with a steel folding chair every time the refs backs are turned. Looking forward to seeing what they have up their sleeve for the Seahawks. Hope they win too. Seahawks bandwagon is terrible. At least with the Pats the bandwagon has been rolling for so long the people riding it are almost naturalized at this point.
haha. Good post lol.

It’s certainly not going to be a blow out. The difference between Fox/Manning, and Belichick/Brady is huge. Give the devil his due - Belichick is a football genius. Yes he cheats. Bends the rules, breaks the rules, doesn’t matter. He’s crafty as shit, and unlike Fox will not be out coached. Brady is Brady, but unlike the Broncos the Pats offense is not the Tom Brady show. Expect them to run the football, and Gronkowski to have a big day. Doesn’t matter how big, physical and talented the seahawks secondary is. Gronk is a monster. And lets not forget that defense is Belichick’s specialty. And if any of his players fuck an onside kick they’ll never be seen or heard from again.

I agree with your assessment of the matchups. I like the matchups against NE better than GB or even Dallas. I also think the team truly and in their hearts believe that they can overcome pretty much any obstacle; they also believe in each other and the team concept.

GB offense vs Seattle defense is WRs vs corners and safeties strength vs strength

Pats offense is built different, and doesn’t have to go strength on strength. They are better equipped to attack the weaknesses.

True, and the Pat’s biggest weakness is OLine, which the Hawks aren’t really burning down the house with front 4 sacks…

I can see McDaniel’s coming up with a way to get 28-31 on the board with a couple turn overs, and I promise if Seattle gives away 5 again in two weeks, it will a blood bath. GB played not to lose, the pats won’t.

The other thing too is Pat’s D, and special teams… They have hurt people this year. If Seattle doesn’t think the Pats D will be both smart and physical, just as much as their own, they are in for a long, painful day.

I’m not sure how closely you’ve followed the Pats this year, but… This really isn’t advantage Hawks. It’s even money if it even matters at this point.

Look at the Baltimore game last week for the most recent example. They got ass beat up and down the field for 3.5 quarters, and finished with a win. Sounds familiar without the cathartic crying and emotional upheaval at the end.

I don’t follow the AFC much, so, you are right, I can’t comment really on the Pats. I just know that one of my favorite aspects of this team is their belief in each other; I don’t get the sense at all that they are just blowing smoke at press conferences.

Both teams got off to a rocky start, and had the media play up the “super bowl hang over” / “Tom Brady is washed up” angles. I think you can see a lot of the coaching difference shine through in how each team reacts. Seattle seems real emotional, and for some reason which I can’t quite understand seem to consider themselves the under dogs, even when they are very clearly not. The Pats always seem a little more stoic in a “Fuck you. We’re the Patriots.” sort of way.
Broncoandy wrote:

Yeah. I mean yesterday the Hawks were crying during the post game. Last week wen the pats did something similar they were in press conferences like "yeah playing from behind by 14 two different times certainly wasn’t part of the game plan.)

I don’t think either approach has any advantage over the other, unless people who need one are trying to do the other.

Seattle wearing that emotion like that might raise them up, charge them up and get the riled to come out and whoop ass in two weeks. It also could have been a catharsis and the Hawks just won their “superbowl” for the season, and will be flat and play like shit in two weeks. Or it will have no effect what-so-ever… Who knows.

Both teams have overcome a lot of shit through teamwork, preparation and mental toughness. It’s real weird how similar their years were, to be honest…
