2014 NFL Thread II

What did they have, 5 turnovers and they still won? Green Bay has to be killing themselves. They clearly outplayed them for about 3 and a half quarters but stunk it up the rest of the way.

Seattle’s Defense earned theirs and their offenses paychecks that game. Everyone except Lynch needs to just donate their playoff bonuses to the D for keeping them from being blown the fuck out in the first 3 quarters.

Holy shit.

GB had a chance to put it away early and only wound up with 6 points on the board.

On side kick…

Seattle’s 2 pt conversion…

Seattle’s D won the day.

Oh look, a bull shit roughing the passer call for Brady. Shocker…

I was very disappointed in his play, but ready to forgive him because of all he’s done for the team, and then he just shrugs it off and goes and pulls another win out of his ass. As bad as he played for 3 quarters, the guy is just a fucking winner.

And the D was absolutely huge. God damn, they held them to 6 points early in the face of total disaster.

Does anyone else notice how Phil Simms pronounces the word ‘him’ like “heem”?

Ehh, I don’t even know who to root for in this Super Bowl, don’t like either team.

They made up for it by not calling the three Pass Interference calls in the endzone right after that, lol.

Uh sorry Beans but I do not think those were PI’s. Did Davis have his hand on Gronk’s side, yes, but by rule he has to pull and turn him. Which he did not.

The rest of the game was called well, both games were. That one call on Brady by “rule” needs to be clarified, he did not hit him anywhere but the chest and if the rule is no helmet then fine (even though I fucking hate it) but it sure as hell was not a blow to the head.

It was not roughing the passer, and in slow motion real obvious. However full speed, I understand the flag.

That said, out of the 3 passes into the endzone at the end of the half… Those receivers were being raped, lol. And based on the way they called last week, and the 17 weeks during the season…

End of the day, they didn’t call ticky-tack PI or holding calls on the Pats either, so fuck it. I think the game was called fair and correctly outside a couple human errors, so I’m not complaining. I’m just giving perspective for USMC because he hates Brady.

I know, you are going to the SB so I am going to bust your balls as much as possible.

It’s fine. I don’t think the Pat’s can beat Seattle anyway, so I’m going to enjoy the next two weeks and be done with it. Seattle is a lot like The Ravens, except better, and the Pat’s needed to grab their cocks and plug their asses to squeak out a win at home agaisnt the Ravens so…

NFL investigating if Patriots used under-inflated game balls.

Maybe, I turned it off. I don’t hate Brady either. I’m just tired of the officials riding his nuts. It’s not just him though.

It was roughing the Brady. Peeps gotta know you can’t do that. Colts fans shouldn’t take it too hard though. In another few years they’ll start seeing illegal use of hands - hands to the Luck getting called too.

Fucking lmao… I get it. I’d hate the living shit out of the Pats too if I wasn’t living here and a fan.

As if the air in the ball is why they kicked the shit out of the Colts… This incessant “pats are cheaters” reminds me of the “evil 1%” occupy bullshit.

What are they gonna do? Send the Colts to Arizona instead? lol. Could always be worse.

Honestly at this point even as a Bills fan I have a hard time hating the Pats. They’re like the bad guy in pro wrestling. You can’t help but appreciate the villainy. I’m half expecting Gronk to hit someone with a steel folding chair every time the refs backs are turned. Looking forward to seeing what they have up their sleeve for the Seahawks. Hope they win too. Seahawks bandwagon is terrible. At least with the Pats the bandwagon has been rolling for so long the people riding it are almost naturalized at this point.
