Are you worried about Marinelli heading to TB at all?

Yesterday.
Not worried about Marinelli leaving. I think he will stay. He has the job, he is going to get paid, the team is most likely going to be heavy on defensive moves in the off-season. Why go to Tampa Bay to be with his friend, when his friend is going to be out of Tampa Bay within a few years and he can stay in Dallas where they are going to be bringing in even more talent. He stays in Dallas.

Also, since it’s nearing that time of year. I absolutely think Winston will be on that list soon. His off the field shit is the kind that doesn’t bother me(ok well the rape allegation was worrisome, but Ben made it through the same thing just fine), and his skillset is amazing.
Winston needs to go get high on tape or something so 31 teams will turn their nose up at him, and the Bills can pick him up in the later rounds ![]()
Rape accusations really shouldn’t mean anything until they turn into convictions.

That was a tough loss. But they were exceeding expectations all year long and the team looks promising for next year. If Romo’s back holds up there is reason for optimism.

I’m optimistic, but I feel like this year is how they should have been playing the past 3-4? years. Romo made it through this year, which I was very worried about going in. And he didn’t make it through without getting punished (fractured back, ribs). I think the off-season where he doesn’t require surgery, will be so nice for him, and I believe him when he says we will see his best football the next 4-5 years. I would like for the team to draft a QB soon though, have one sit and learn under Romo for a few seasons, like Rogers did in Green Bay.

Deffinatly agree Wilson is going to move up the ranks as the super elite retire, and he improves. Him and Luck could very well become the Brady / Manning of this generation. Gotta admit I was impressed with his play vs the Panthers. The benefits of not having to carry your team for a young guy like that can not be over stated. He’s not developing the bad habbits that are so hard to break, and it’s easier to see the value reads when your not in all or nothing mode all game long. He’s gonna get paid, and the team WILL be worse off in the long run than they currently are as a result, but a franchise quarterback is hard to find, and that makes him worth every penny of the 20+ million a year they pay him. They’d be retards not to pay him.
I wrote a post on another forum discussing the aspect of Wilson/Luck with regards to ‘the elite’ aging as well. Rodgers is the only undisputed elite QB that isn’t into his twilight. Ages vary, but the triumvirate of Brady, Brees, and Manning are certainly not long before retirement, and guys just behind them like Rivers, Big Ben, Romo, etc. aren’t far behind either. The NFL is about to be 100% turned over to the hands of Luck, Wilson, Ryan, Stafford, Eli, etc. Wilson is very high on that list if you ask me who I want on my team.
Eli is as old as Rivers, I believe. They came out of the same draft.
That being said, I agree. It’s a bit reminiscent of when Favre was the only elite qb left from the 90s when Marino, Kelly, Young, etc. retired.

Maybe Denver can convince Favre to come out of retirement…

Yeah, it’s pretty ironic.

Marinelli signs extension also.
Jack Del Rio to the Raiders is interesting. I think he has a chance to good there.

He’d have to overcome The Curse.
I am not sure what the curse is? I just know they have sucked for a while and believe he might change that.
Rex Ryan press conference today. I hate this hire. And yet somehow I’m starting to like it. “We will not build our offensive game plans around our punter, I’ll tell you that”. I like him better than Marrone already. “Fourth in the league [on defense] was probably a little disappointing. I know we?ll lead the league in defense”, Buffalo has the perfect personel to run the 4-3. The 3-4 under not so much. Points for bravado though. If nothing else this should make losing more entertaining.

Reports breaking today he is considering bringing Sanchez over. I don’t really trust the legitimacy but I guess it’s possible.
