2014 NFL Thread II

Well that’s a good start to this weekend
A Cowboy win now means a Seattle clinch regardless of what Seattle does.

Can’t believe the 49ers blew that. Fucking clowns.

Bwahahaha. Chargers miraculously pulled that one out after making the 49ers terrible offense look good. Well the running game look good at least. Kap still sucks as a passer.

Got to give Rivers credit after making some terrible throws earlier he came back and led them with some great plays.

Id take Wilson over Flacco, Ryan and Romo how he is good and Flacco is great sounds like home cookin.

Not home cooking. Flacco plays well and wins when it matters. Romo and Ryan have both folded when it matters.

I’d take Flacco over Wilson only because Flacco is so durable and one of these days Wilson is gonna get crushed and probably hurt. Otherwise I’d day it’s a toss up. Wilson has had a better defense backing him though.

After good I didn’t put that much thought into it. Sanchez, I’m sorry to say, is terrible.

Elite Tier - the top four
2nd Tier - Big Ben, Wilson, Luck
3rd Tier - Romo, Rivers, Eli, Flacco, Ryan,
Reason for Optimism - Stafford, Kaepernick, Palmer, Newton
Nothing Special - Alex Smith, Dalton and the rest
This I agree with, though Palmer in the reason for optimism group is weird considering he is on the decline especially after another injury
I don’t think Flacco should be in the same tier as perpetual losers.

I can’t believe the Eagles…

The Seahawks beat them senseless and they never recovered. You are welcome, Cowboys.

Kyle Long is out, rookie Ryan Groy is lining up against Suh.

Today is the day Clausen has his head forcibly separated from his body.

Cutler is number 2, Fales is inactive which I don’t understand.

Bears were getting 4.5 until mid-week when Trestman decided to start Clausen. Bears getting up to 8.5, may have come in a bit.

My prediction, Bears 9 Lions 35.

Ravens are trying to give the 6 seed away. …

Dont be sorry, I sad he was bad but so is Bradford, but has accomplished much more, and according to your reasoning of having Flacco better than Ryan Romo etc (which I whole heartedly disagree with) Sanchez is better than all those guys you bunched him with. Wilson is durable, how has he not been? Like I said Home cooking.

These Lions are a bunch of dirty ass players. I hope they lose this game

I didn’t say he isn’t durable just that it remains to be seen. Flacco hasn’t missed a start yet. We’ll see if Wilson can do the same. I don’t think so because of how he plays.

Bradford isn’t all that good either, but he’s also been hurt and his team has been pretty bad too. Like I said I didn’t put a whole lot of thought past the good tier.

Anyway Flacco looked like shit today.

Wilson doesn’t take a lot of big hits. He’s got uncanny awareness and he’s smart about sliding. We’ll see if this trend continues but so far he’s done well in this regard.

WTF were the Colts thinking. Wow.

Ya he definitely has, but he also hasn’t had to carry his team yet.

I dunno what the Colts were thinking.

Bills raiders fucking painful.

If you are watching the Cowboy game you are about to see the lineman pay homage to Tom Landry by doing the shift at the line

They did it earlier this year - maybe against the Saints? - and I got goosebumps when I saw it. I vividly remember watching the Cowboys as a kid with my Dad and asking him why they did that.

Yeah, they do it every time they are taking a knee to run out the clock with a victory. It is a thing of beauty. The lineman decided to start doing it on their own.
