0_o how does that make you feel?

I think its great. We are going to be able root against each other for the rest of our lives. Dallas is my second, default team anyway.

I also made it a point to tell him that he was born in Dallas and no matter what he will always be a Texan–for good or for bad. I felt like I could not deprive him of that part of his heritage just because his mom and dad moved him to Starbucks land.
Thats cool.

What a season. Seattle can win its 11th game this weekend and still not clinch a playoff spot.

Do you ever remember a season with this much parity? I mean we have 2 games left and still nothing set in stone for the playoffs.

No. The tops teams are very equal and very separate from the rest of the pack.

But those middle of the road teams are very close, I mean look at the AFC North.

I was mostly thinking NFC and all the 10 (and one 9) win teams, but yah, you are right.

What’s the word on D Murray? Missing him could hurt bad down the stretch.

He may miss this week, but will be back after that.

I heard something about surgery. Is that not the case?

He had surgery yesterday on his left hand.

Over under on Seattle Arizona is 36. I could seeing it going under 10.

Oh, guess it wasn’t that big a deal then.

Not worried about it at all. If Murray is out, look for Randle to have a huge game.

I hope they just sit him. He broke a finger on his left hand. Surgery, and will have to wear a cast. He already had issues with fumbles earlier in the year, it is a point in the season wear we absolutely can’t afford a fumble at the wrong time. Sit him, let Randle run the ball, Dunbar 3rd down back and move forward. One more reason not to pay Murray a big contract. If he tries to go it is only because it’s contract year for him.

I wouldn’t make a big deal out of it right now. When I was a kid I really loved the Oakland A’s and wore the hat non stop. I grew out of it though and went to the hometown team.

Man, in this league and with home field advantage you just never know. I could see the Saints or Falcons pulling a round 1 upset.
Honestly, I kinda don’t want to Falcons to go to the play-offs. I just want them to beat the Saints and I would be happy with that. My reasoning is that a play-ff win might save Mike Smith’s job and I think it’s time for a coaching change in Atl. His personnel moves, especially on defense is just puzzling. He doesn’t put the best people out their for the scheme. The same problems have been plaguing the team for years and neither Smith or Dimitroff have yet to address it. Lack of pass rush, terrible O-line consistent failures on 3rd down both sides of the ball. I am sick of it, I want to win and I don’t think we can with Smith at the helm.

How do you feel about Matt Ryan? I don’t follow Atlanta very closely, but it seems like he’s had some serious weapons and just isn’t getting it done.

Bears benching Cutler, starting Jimmy Clausen.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a franchise implode so spectacularly over the course of 6 months. We went from being supposed play-off contenders with a franchise QB, a quarterback friendly coach, and a built-up O-line to…a pile of steamy shit. Franchise QB is benched, coach and staff possibly getting fired, and GM may join them in the unemployment line.

I think they should start Fales.

And hire Harbaugh. Match the $48M UMich is offering and give him personnel decisions as well.

If i’m not mistaken their O-line is not very good. A good O-line can make a mediocre QB look really good. Not saying Ryan is mediocre or anything.

From the players perspective, doesn’t D Murray deserve the big contract?

It’s not like RBs typically enjoy long careers with multiple paydays.

Or that anything but signing bonuses are even guaranteed.
