Probably get 2 more lifting sessions and 3 throwing before the games Saturday. Workouts are feeling great. Really looking forward to them everyday. Very little DOMS but some tightness. Energy level is real high, attribute this to paying attention to my food intake for once, or could just bethe 2 pots of coffee I drink daily.

Think I’ll enjoy them more once I get use to them, Schmidt. Just put 1 scoop of grounds per cup to be brewed, Wilson. Least that’s what the wife claims I do. She pours half a cup and adds hot water to it. Thanks Joe, it’s your vids inspire me.

Had me one of those moments this morning at the gym.
I’m getting a couple of dbs for the flyes when,
“Hey, move out the way!”
I look around. About 20’ back from the db racks a guy’s doing dip flexs. Don’t know what else to call them. He’s on the dip bars, goin down about 1", back up, elbows barely bend. He’s pretty, too. Nice sleeveless tshirt showin off his massive 13" gunz, matching workout pants with a logo on them, cute lifting gloves with the wrist wraps, mousse in his hair.
I do my best DeNiro, “You talkin to me?”
“Yeah, you’re blockin the mirror.”
“You’re shittin me”.
“No, helps me do my dips if I watch myself.”
“It ain’t helpin.”
He dismounts, shakes his arms. Walks around fellin the pump he’d worked up. I do my set. He goes for another set, I go for some more dbs.
“Are you trying to piss me off?”
“Yup,workin?”
He left the weight area, but with dignity.
Never said I couldn’t be an asshole on occasion.

The funniest thing is to visit my gym between 5-8 pm on a Friday night. It’s such a meat market. Both the men and women (all pretty much 20-somethings) primping and preening and flexing and doing nothing of any consequence training-wise.
