I get some lbs out of wraps (10, maybe 20) which is not that much. Of course, my wraps are pretty mild. They need to really be cranked down.
I’m going to try them on front squats the next time I do legs and see what happens.

To get a gain outta wraps, they need to be really tight. My coach wraps my knees extremely tight in a criss-cross fashion. I often have serious bruising from them. He also uses a wrap roller to pre-stretch the wraps. People scoff at these, but you can’t believe the lineup to “borrow” it at meets.

Yeah, yeah. I’m a lazy ass and don’t wrap my own knees. One of the benefits of being a female in a male-dominated sport. Always have offers to wrap me. Hee hee. Saves me a helluva lot of energy at meets.

add in one hour mowing the lawn for cardio and some farmers walks just to enjoy the sun.
Adding any piece of new equipment has always meant a period of adjustment for me. Perhaps its the same for you and you just have to get used to the wraps before they can help you more than hurt you.

I’ve been told that thunder storms increase in intensity as you get closer to the equator. Right now the wind has picked up and sky is churning and there’s a energy in the air, a bit like the anticipation when awaiting the arrival of a lover. I’ve always loved these thunder storms since I was kid.
The flashes of lightening, the rolling thunder and the squall behind it, lashing the rain against the windows. Theres something so very primal about it that I look forward to them.
