I was pretty sure I didn’t need one for 245 much heavier though and I would.

That 245 bench looked very easy for you. Nice!

I’m sorry that your mom is sick. Is she the sort of person who will fight to keep her quality of life high despite obstacles? I hope so.

Joe- Sorry to hear about your Mom.

245 is an easy weight for you, good work.

Yeah bro the 245 looked perfect, echoing everyone else’s statements I will keep your mom in my prayers.

Oh and that some good work on the ISO ROW, I love that machine!

Unfortunately no, not to mention she’s crazy as hell.

Thanks kevin, it was a bit of a surprise.

I have to admit I love it as additional back work. I don’t think it could ever be a primary lift but its a nice add on.

great 245 lift I think 250 will be super easy next time you bench. I would bet that in a month you will push that 260 with ease.

Next week I’m going to bump it up to 250 and try three singles at that. See how it goes from there.

Hitching at the top of 375, very dissapointing. Now I have a question for you guy. I have four weeks until my meet. Should I just take those and practice my meet lifts or do one more cycle of 5/3/1 doing meet lifts at the end of each day?

1x375

Personally - I use the last 3 weeks of training to dial in my openers.

Use the next week to do triples up to what you believe your opener should be and if you can do a triple at that weight all is good. You may even want to try another bump up to see if you get a higher triple.

After that week, I work all three lifts each session and work up to singles at openers and seconds

coming up on 4-5 days out just work up to openers.

Nice work!

Sorry to heat about your mom. I echo everyone’s sentiments.

Nice pull joe.

I cant offer any advice on precomp training
other then to dial it down and get some rest.

WOW! The meet is in 4 weeks. Insane!

Your lifts are looking good to me, so I can offer nothing more than total props.

Sorry to hear about your mom - sending my love.

Thats pretty close to what I was thinking. I’m all over the place as to what my lifts should be this time so I could use the time.

Lifts are looking good Joe - I have no experience or intelligent advice on pre-comp strategies, but I’ll be following along and pulling for you. Maybe you’ll inspire me to try it.

Sorry to hear about your mom, hoping for the best.

60 day challenge

58 chins
58 reverse lunges
58 pushups

I am liking this enough that I am going to do another one of these after my meet. Maybe starting at 30 or 40.
