Thanks. The only thing I’ve ever been naturally good at was being fast and catching/throwing footballs/basketballs/baseballs etc. The only thing I really have going for me in lifting is pigheadedness and willingness to stick to a plan.
Nice PR on the zerchers and your 60 challenge is moving along swimmingly. When I was training my chins/pushups I definitely noticed some more muskels in me delts and bi’s, so I can see how you’d be getting all thickened up!

IMO probably the most important characteristic you could have. Pigheadedness goes a long way. A lot of more naturally gifted athletes never succeed because they are lazy or complacent.

8 weeks out, correct? (Saw Jesse post something about it on one of the boards)
Yep, eight weeks out and still no idea what my openers are going be.
I wouldn’t worry, you got 8 weeks to figure that out. I have done meets where I didn’t pick my opener til that day. Or the day before. Others where I had it locked in my head 10 weeks out and the day comes and what should’ve been easy felt a ton.
A mile wide tornado with 200+ mile and hour winds just tore through Tuscaloosa about 30 miles south west of here and they are reporting a mall was totally destroyed.
