You need context my friend. I think the middle line does favor Boston and it sounds like you do as well. I may have come of as extreme but it started on page 7 on this thread when getnitdone wrote:

He’s having a “hard time” picturing Boston beating the Heat in a 7 game series?1? To me, this was an extreme view and in an extreme minority. Anyone in their right mind that knows NBA playoff basketball would not make this proclamation. Maybe they would say I think Miami “may” win. But to say I have a hard time seeing Boston even beat the Heat is ridiculous and discounts this very dangerous Boston team. It sounded like he was saying that Boston hardly has a chance which is ludicrous. That’s what started this 3 page debate. I was calling out that crap.
You just admitted you think that Boston has “a good chance” to beat the Heat. That’s my opinion and that’s the opinion of a majority of NBA fans.

That’s fair…I may have missed a post or 2 when I had to comb through 4 pages I missed. I was thinking you initiated it by saying Boston’s gonna win and the Heat have no chance… but I’ve been wrong before.
I DO think that whoever wins there will be several close games. And they’re only playing to lose to the Bulls anyway (blatant homerism)

We are surprising close in opinion. I think there will also be several close games. This is by no means going to be a cake walk for the Celtics. I just think they will most likely win a 7 game series.
^unbelievably pathetic. Rooting for this team is the most infuriating experience during the regular season. They just never “bring it” for 82 games. I need a drink…

the Lakers fucking suck balls man! What the shit?!?[/quote]
Theory: The Lakers saw the celtics blow dick in the reg season last year and make an insane playoff run, and realized the reg season means nothing
However, if it was really that simple, the Celtics would just do the same thing again this year. But they’re winning a lot of games this year, so clearly last year was unintentional.
Just trying to throw you a bone and talk you Laker fans off the ledge…
I was expecting a lot louder boos for Bosh. I guess the fact that his own fans don’t even hate him as much as they should says a lot about him. I LOL’d at his postgame comments “I love the boos, I hope they boo me next time I’m here”. If he had been cheered he would’ve said he loves it and the fans there rule.
In other news, Chris Bosh actually LOOKS like a velociraptor and that’s the main reason I’m pissed he left. Just a perfect fit there.

Wasn’t really expecting the same level of boos for Bosh. He didn’t reach Rock Star status like VC and never actually ‘checked out.’

That’s sorta my point. That a guy can throw up a 25/10 for years, then toy with the franchise/fans for months before leaving… it just should be a bigger deal. But Bosh is such a robot that he just doesn’t incite strong feelings either way.

I don’t see it as all that bad, I doubt he really had his mind made up. What should he have done? Told everyone he was going to leave in the middle of the season like 'melo? Heck they boo 'melo in Denver now too.
to scj before you start expounding on how great your bulls are.
The Bulls are a great team…
but the Spurs are a better team.
You - a young and talented team playing at home just beat a tired team playing at the end of their long-ass road trip. Make no mistake we got out-hustled by you and you dominated us on the boards. The bottom line we played horrible D. Forget Rose’s career high, we could have survived that if we had gotten solid in the paint contribution and showed up with more energy.
for the record i hope you guys keep doing good in the east and ill be rooting for you to upset Boston and Orlando (will not root for you against miami, howevaaa).

Not bad bud you could have nerded it up with any of the various batman characters.
So…Lebron=Batman, Wade=Nightwing, Bosh=Robin
Or Bosh=Batgirl, Stephanie Brown or something

We were also missing our best rebounder and defensive player (Noah). The dropoff from Noah to Kurt Thomas is astronomical. We are going to be damn fine in the playoffs… bulls-heat or bulls-celtics is gonna be epic.
