2009 Goals and Battleplans

405 bench, 500 sq, 600 dead. while sitting right around 300 lbs.

600/425-450/500 at 181 most likely in the IPA (thats multiply for those too lazy to look up a fed before asking). I want to total elite at 198 within the next two years.

Currently working on the plan and getting strong enough for my gear.

Stuff to get straight this year.

Diet: Just needs to be cleaned up. Less fat, more protein, veggies. Less or no fast food, unhealthy desserts (icecream, etc).

Lifts:
650/350/500 @ 198
from
573/303/440

Do cardio 3x a week & focus on abs every day I don’t lift heavy.

get down to 77kg by June.

Place a good total at my first OLift Meet. Hoping to do

80kg Snatch
100kg CJ

Progressively increase my Sinclair and hopefully compete nationally come 2010.

I want a 2300 total- so like 870-900/630-660/750-770- at 275 or 308. I want to do APF Sr. Nats this year and maybe one or two other freakshow meets.

gear used?, very impressive none the less just curious im looking to be in those weight classes as i get older and gain more muscle
Oh, yeah. That’s with layers upon layers of carefully fitted polyester.

Bench 315 @ a meet (with that pain in the ass pause!)

Deadlift 600 @ a meet

All at 198lbs.

700lb deadlift
600lb squat
315lb bench (LOL)

My goal for the year is 300/400/500 b/s/d by the end of the year. Also, getting my diet together. I’ve been using the Madcow 5x5 and I like it a lot.

your an ass hanley… :)
Don’t hate…

…yet.

Knowing my luck I’ll be all set up to hit them and blow something out!

Just checked the USAPL ranking list, it’d be good for number 2 in the country last year, and 3rd at IPF worlds. If I can get my bodyweight up to a full 110 (or a shade over) I might be good for more.

It’ll be an interesting year what ever happens!

Good luck with that hanely,

Im looking for the 1.5xBw bench, 2BW squat and 2.5xbw deadlift mark, bench is there and could always go up, squat is a few kgs out and deadlift needs the most work, weighing @ 98-100kg.

As for otherlifts,
Hit BW OH press this year would be great, currently sitting @ 85kg for 2, looking also to improve my GPP.

i hope to not tear any muscles this year and to improve on my numbers from last year.

may compete in the 308’s this year. if i’m able to break some records in that class, i will have records in three different weight classes.
I may be biased… but I don’t think you will have any problems Meat…

thanks bro. i just take it one day at a time. with me, there’s a fine line between going all out and going too far. i have a tendency to tear muscles preparing for comps (or during comps).

i’m really excited for your first comp. popping your cherry is long over do.

even with your current numbers you will do great in your first comp. once you hit your goals for this year you will graduate to Badass.

I’ll be supporting you the entire time.

 • Eat More!
 • Weigh 200 (currently 175ish)
 • Lift 405/305/455 (currently 295/255/365)
 • Push Press 225 (currently 185x2)
 • Complete a full Smolov cycle
 • Get licensed and start training people
 • Stay hungry (literally and metaphorically)

Good luck to all of you (and me)!

Squat: 300+

Vertical Leap: 35+ inches
