20-Rep Super Squats Program

Hi all, I am planning on starting super squats soon and was looking for feedback from people who have experience with 20 rep squats. A little about me I am 6’2" 188lbs. I was considering doing the squats with a safety bar for shoulder issues and more upper back and quad work. I am able to do normal high bar but am thinking squatting 3x a week it might be better for my shoulder to use a safety bar. Has anyone ever tried 20 rep squats with a safety bar? I am planning on a 5 day a week split.
Monday Wednesday and Friday will all look like this:
Squatx20
Glute ham raise 2x12-15
Seal Row 3x10
Latpulldown 2x10
Standing Calf raise 3x12-15

Tuesday and Thursday will be:
Floor press 3x8
DB incline 3x12-15
Lateral Raise 3x15-20
Tricep Rope Extension 3x12-15
Bicep Curl 3x12-15

Any feedback or thoughts on the program would be much appreciated. Thanks

@T3hPwnisher is a big advocate of that program if I remember rightly.

I personally wouldn’t be able to workout with much energy 5x a week if 3 of those times were 20 reppers. Especially if you are planning on increasing weight every session or even every week.

I am a big fan of the program, but I’ve never run it like what is written here. I’d stick with what Super Squats suggest personally.

Regarding the SSB, I don’t see it working well. I find the SSB puts enough pressure on the upperback that the breathing aspect of the breathing squat gets compromised. If shoulder health is the concern, I’d use a buffalo bar instead of an SSB.
