Bit more detail on my nutrition. I have no problem eating carbs before bed and my diet isn’t entirely clean.
While I don’t eat any chocolate, chips, candy, soft drinks, empty carbs etc and have not for ovea few years I still don’t eat entirely clean. Pizza, burgers and such are fine.
My philosophy is just to have a reason to eat everything I ingest. I don’t mind a bit of saturated fats so long as I can justify it with protein and carbs and essentials. So a mcdicks burger once in a blue moon= ok, can of pop or chips= no.

My diet is not the best given the fact I live on my own as a university student and go grocery shopping once or twice a month, so fresh vegetables are very hard to keep up with. I eat alot of carbs, especially at breakfast. I have a hard time eating big meals, especially in the morning, so generally just eat all day.

Each day with my shake I include flax seed, olive oil, natural yougurt, milk, frozen fruit, peanut butter and the gainer. About 1500 calories. Overall I get alot of carbs, proteins and essential fatty acids but most of my fibre comes from grain rather than vegetables and that is where my diet is lacking most.

Also I’ve noticed this thread isn’t getting many hits due to a lack of controversy… so I just want everyone to know I think steroids and bodybuilders are ghey, but I’ve gotta get going, time to have sex with my aunt who happens to also be my 6th grade teacher. Go Crossfit and P90x!

And thanks muskals, the plan is to have that tat into a half sleeve by the time I post up another progress pic to this thread!

Progress update- After a month of higher volume focusing on the big lifts and using rest pause and cluster sets I’ve decided to spend a week maxing out my lifts.

So far Bench has gone for 235 to 245 2 days ago.
Squat has gone from 350 to 370 today. (with belt, went up smoothly, but missed 375 pretty badly)
Body weight has gone from 183 to 187. Looking like 190 by christmas should not be a problem.

Going for deadlifts in a day or two depending on how the legs feel. Given my other jumps hoping for at least 450.

And deadlift jumped from 435 to 455. Put 50 lbs on the big 3 in one month.

Update- Failed to hit 190 by the New Year, ended the year at 185, so obviously weight has stalled. Obvious reason being I haven’t eaten enough. Not consistently hitting 5000 a day, hovering closer to 4500. Money got tight for a bit so could not eat with reckless abandon. Strength is feeling pretty good though.
Am going to attempt a new squat max this week would be thrilled if I can crack the 4 plate threshold. Most of my gains seem to be coming in the legs, back and chest have stalled.

All in all though good year, in terms of weight and maxs this is where I began and finished.
Weight 170-185
Squat 275ish(poor form)-370(proper form)
Deadlift 405-455
Bench 190ish-245

Still lots of time to hit 200 by the end of the school year though.
