Holy shit, and you always mentioned arms as a problem for you. I remember you posted in the Alpha Roundtable recently about how you got around your problem. Congrats.

Judging your avi they don’t seem a trouble area anymore. Mind sharing what worked to bring them up?

not trying to be an ass hole here, but it seems that the OP has quite a bit of fat adding to that 18 inches, I know people with 18 inch biceps that haven’t worked out a day in their life…

Now if you cut down to single digit body fat and still have 18 inch arms, then Im impressed.

Was wondering why you haven’t posted your arms in this thread.

Read the whole thread before you make a comment. The better pics are within the last few pages including the one on this page. Not that I care about your opinion anyways.

Oh no, they definitely still are, unfortunately. Biceps and tris both have zero roundness… just like, flat, when they’re relaxed. Really sucks. So yeah, gonna have to get them way more ginormous before they look even halfway decent. Although I’m sure they will look better at 8-10% bodyfat.

As for what I’ve done… I followed morepain’s advice and start doing 2 sessions a week, one heavy, in the 2-5 rep range for the heavy sets mostly, and the other not being concerned about weight, and just pumping the shit out of the muscle, 15-30 rep sets.

Doing this I think brought my arms from 16.5 to 17 within 6 weeks or so.

Then, after progress slowed down, I took the principles laid out in John Roman’s specialization article, and in 5 weeks, went from about 17 to almost 17.5. Now I’m doing a routine (I wrote it out in the T-Cell Guns thread) where Im still hitting arms 3x a week to give them the attention they need. Also, improving the mind-muscle connection, esp. for triceps, has helped a TON.

20 inches pls!

Damn man you put an inch on your arms in 11 weeks? Thats solid. I’m interested in Roman’s specialization routine(s) as well but it’ll probably be awhile before I try them since I’ll finish gaining, then cut, then maybe try it. I might do arm specialization but honestly my chest needs it more. Maybe forearms + chest

Did you do his suggested routine of biceps + triceps or just one?

Take it for what it’s worth men, starting a tip of the week.

lol.

Nice Tip A_B, only recently have i really tried focusing on the contraction and not just going as heavy as possible with some body english. And bang, 3/8" in just over 4 weeks.

Great progress dude.

Are you curling in the squat rack?!? Just kidding. Nice job man. Wish more young guys would take this as seriously as you do.

Lmao yes I’m curling in the rack. Idk I think your born with this bug, it’s not acquired. Too many times have I made attempts to train with family members or friends and they just are not hungry and wind up quitting before they see anything worthwhile. Too bad, but good for me, less competition. Haha.

My training partners and I have a saying. " Many come to visit, but few stay." Here’s my contribution to the thread. 5’6" 185lbs. barely 18 pumped, but this is cold.
