Being taller and stocky I have an easier time putting on mass than most of my shorter peers, however they don’t need to get as big, measurments wise as I do to appear as big, so it all evens out, good things come with being tall, good things come with being short but like I said, it’s easier for me to grow bigger than most short dudes and thus 18 inch arms on someone 5’6 are more impressive.
ok you guys stumped me, i never really thought about the weight gain thing, yah if your short and u have to gain 10 lbs to get ur arms to move an .5 of an inch, or one inch, u will notice 10 lbs is a lot cuz how short u are… 10lbs on a 6 foot + guy you would hardly notice.
yeah man, it’s sad but true. about 3yrs ago i was 179lbs, and am 222 now. going from 179-195 i got a few comments, but only when i got to 195ish. then nothing until i just recently got over 220lbs.

its crazy being tall haha

Holy shit, 18’s unflexed dude? That’s like prob close to 19 flexed. That’s a big-ass arm. If I remember correctly, you didn’t always have standout arms. What have you done to bring them up?
gained about 15lbs lol.

my bi’s have typically grown faster then the rest of my body. i didn’t do any direct bi-work for about 6-8mo and then added them in 2x a week in the past 8 mo when i went from 205-220. guess i know where that rice went.

Thanks guys, next stop 19s… and then some!

And B Rock 18 unflexed is a big arm!

x2

Big arms only look good when they are in proportion with the rest of the body, in my opinion.

Well there’s certainly no one in this thread with disproportionately large arms, which makes me wonder what the point of your post was…

This thread is about 18" arms. Not about proportion.

Awesome progress dude!

Threads evolve. Proportion is often ignored. I think it’s relevant. Well, I’m gambling, but I think it’s unlikely that many of the guys who drool over their arms have thighs to match.

Class of 2010 troll…

18 inches, 5’6" 205 lbs

It’s also unlikely that someone with impressive arms was able to get there without an overall increase in muscle mass throughout the rest of their body. You ever seen someone with 19" or 20" arms who was small anywhere else? I sure haven’t.

^lol true. I’ve seen a huge chest on a guy with nothin else. i mean could incline rep 315, squatted 95’s. Austin, and other with big arms, any of you think your triceps are more impressive than your biceps?

hah, I was about to post a picture of him…

I have a hunch he’s done quite a bit of site injections and such. he’s got some weird scarring u[ on them. literally big biceps and nothing else. It looks fucking stupid.

Not this one. It’s about 18" arms. If you have them, post 'em.

x3. It’s awesome to see the progress guys my same height (6’ish) have made. It’s the difference between being satisfied with what the average out of shape public see’s as impressive and actually working toward being better than that. austin, bugs, kingbeef, tumbles and bRock, I’m talking about you guys. Good shit.

disclaimer: kingbeef may not be over 6’ tall but he has the wingspan of a California condor so I include him with the 6 footers

Wasn’t a perfect shot, but I was in my glory today, thought it captured it well.
