A friend and I just recently created an arms race. We both started at 16," he’s quite a bit shorter than I and has been training longer, so we set a bit of a handicap for me - he’s pushing for 18, I’m pushing for 18.5. Last one there has to buy the other a pizza haha. In maybe 2 months I’ve put a half inch on, so that’s good. A little healthy competition can be very motivating
18.5 cold.
started lifting about 4 years ago when I was 18. Just out of high school I was 6’2" 155 lbs. Now around 240lbs. This years goal is to stay about the same weight but get leaner. Also, at least 19" arms by this time next year.
(please ignore the bathroom walls…I just moved into this place and the idiots before me trashed it. The bathroom is the only place I haven’t gotten to yet.

Nice work! What’s up with the wall behind you though? Gotta take care of your place man!
Thanks!
haha I said in my first post, I just moved in here recently and the bathroom is the last place I have to finish off…the last people who owned this place trashed it.

Here’s a pic of me with said arm.
None of the wife’s thigh though…

Hold on to that thought. I reserve judgment until I see a pic with previously mentioned thigh.
For the record, and not to be a dick, but if you aren’t lean, arm measurements don’t really count for much. Its easy to have a respectable measurement with bodyfat in the mid/upper 20’s. I say this because I know. I had 19.5" pumped before I leaned out. I’m now at 17" cold now. Not jelly, but you do lose size - on a positive it looks much better.
Renegade, if you want to lean out, its going to take some time, and you won’t be able to stay at 240lbs - if your intent is to stay natural that is. 200-210lbs is a very realistic goal to progress towards and be decently lean. Suppose it depends on your definition of leanness. (Note the above comment/paragraph was meant as a general one, not at all directed at you.)

Thanks…It’s funny because I know what you mean but on a site such as this being called skinny’s like fightin’ words! Everywhere else it’s sweet.
Also lots of members here are surprised I don’t have a mullet like Roddy in my avatar.

I understand. If it matters I basically sound like Rowdy Roddy as we grew up in the same general area.
Hey, like many people I feel like LankyMofo is Bob Saget.

I also refuse to acknowledge that he is not actually Saget.

Aren’t you an O-lifting guy? I thought they tried to purposefully keep their arms small. =0)[/quote]

this…there is too much emphasis on the scale and on the tape.
