hey guys i made an account just to write a comment
it really depends on you. theres a kid on my wrestling team hes a senior about 4 foot 11 inches and he has 16 inch biceps and weighs 135 lbs! im not joking his names chancey he benches 225 hes crazy strong if you dont blieve me he has youtube vids up i can show you guys. also im 6 foot and 175 lbs and have 15 inch biceps so yes its tottally possible. last year i had 14 inch biceps and what i did was i started working my entire body like instead of just my biceps id work my legs and abs and back and shoulders and neck and forearms and everything cause when you workout your body releases growth stimulating hormones. thats why even if you work out one arm every day and not the other both arms will benifit. idk if thatll work for you but unless your really fat i doubt you could gain 1.5 inches without putting on some weight. sorry if im wrong im a beginner to the world of weight lifting so whatever i tryed xD good luck on your arms
i thought it was the powerlifting part of the website.
amn.
225lbs is a pretty average weight to be honest adam, and I imagine at 4 foot 11 it’s quite a lot easier for him.
Also, why is everyone bragging about having 15" biceps? It’s seriously unimpressive. Not that mine are much bigger but who cares, I still know it’s not impressive.

no one was bragging about having 15 inch arms maybe you should learn to read. and i would love to see you bench 225 at 130-135 lbs =P
well i got my arm up to near 17 only after reach + 200lbs bw
Well since this is the powerlifting forum, and this is a thread in the powerlifting forum, I believe we should take the approach a powerlifter would
do Hammer Curls, 3 sets of 10 on squat day (only day I can fit them in), and do back work every day you train. I would say they will go up in size, and your back will be much stronger, leading to a bigger pull, bigger bench, and bigger shirt sizes. I have done this, and I have gained the 1.5 inches on my arms, and probably 10 pounds of mass.
If you dont like this advice and/or not a powerlifter, then dont post this here.

end of discussion, shut the fuck up about it.
some peoplecan build big arms while being small.
some people have arms that are way out of proportion than the rest of their bodies.
not every person has to gain 15 pounds of mass before they gain an inch on the arm.
quite argueing over something that no one even gives a shit about.

I have to agree to a point. I do not understand why someone would post a arm thread in a powerlifting forum on tmuscle.Since most powerlifters could care less about a gun show.

Exactly. There is a bodybuilding section with members who gladly discuss this. I myself think I care more about my appearance than most powerlifters but I just dont care enough that I go into detail about my arms.
Since it is the powerlifting section, I’d say obsessing over arm size is pointless as long as your total keeps going up meet after meet. Mind you, there’s really no downside on having bigger arms or training them consistently. I know that for my long-ass arms, a little extra tri/bi work goes a long way in helping out my bench.
I like brauny’s idea of a few sets of curls or back work after the heavy lifting is done for the day.
Ehhh. I started out at about a 14 or so. at 170, at 225 i’m like .3 shy of a 19 at 225. So its been close to 15 per inch. but when i started all i cared about was arms fail.
im 5.9, 173 lbs with 15" arms. so yeah its possible. but i started at 10 stone with about 10" arms, so i just built basically off bone. but still im fucking tiny. even at my biggest at 13 and a half stone and 16" arms i was tiny. why do u want 15" arms man, eat and train right and aim for 20" arms, and each leg wider than my body is now lmao.
start small and get massive! just keep eatin, training then rip down and start building again, doing it the long way, 2 years training and still love it ![]()
When I was in highschool I was a uselessly weak retard. At 6’2, and 180 pounds I had 17" arms. And absolutely no size or strength anywhere else at all. I was doing skull crushers and curls with more than I could squat (not that I was doing any squating). So yes, it’s possible even for taller guys, but it’s not something to shoot for. I’ve been training properly for a few years now. I’m up to 220 pounds, and my arms are still 17 inches. Train right, eat right, and smash weights. Don’t worry about the measuring tape.
