hell of a forearm there

haha i do more powerlifting type stuff. i steer clear of most conventional bodybuilding stuff. works wonders on strength and physique if your diet is good.

i appreciate it

I’ve posted this pic before somewhere but what the hell. I’ll air it out again. 17.25 @5’7/170 lbs[/quote]

Good LAWD!

Good job man, fucking awesome.

I know you worked hard for that, but jesus buy your mom some flowers & your dad a beer.

haha thanks man

Great job guys, some impressive pics here lol!

1morerep how do you look so huge, same with your arms and everything and only weigh 170 or so? This isnt really on my own experience but reading alot of beginner threads etc of people saying i have a goal to be 170 or 180 at 5’8 and they just get shouted down saying thats nowhere near enough to look big, however you;ve managed to achieve nice job!

I’ve been weight lifting for about 5 years now and am addicted to it, although I am stuck at a plateau now that I can’t break. All in all, I am quite happy and blessed with my health and progress.

On the right is me at 50 and 215 pounds, middle is April 2007 and left is a present day pic at 56 years old. Thanks for allowing my post and bragging rights.

Arms are actually 17 1/2 inches.

Well it IS important to remember it ain’t all about size. There are plenty of fat slobs with 20" arms. At my age I’m less concerned with size than I used to be. Here’s a pic of myself in peak fit condition at the age of 46 and bodyweight of 184 lbs, down from apeak of about 197 lbs cut when younger and my arms are barely 16". A hair under when ice cold actually, but a slight pump boosts them to barely over 16" hehe

The older one gets the less you give a sh*t what anyone else thinks, it’s a nice feeling

That’s all well and good but this thread is for people with 17 inch arms.

LOL

It’s just like the people who aren’t trying to gain any more size yet feel the need to jump into conversations in the bodybuilding forum to tell people how to train…as if the rest of us also have the goal of making little to no progress on purpose.

Hint: If you are in the 17 INCH ARM THREAD and claiming it ain’t all about size, you are in the wrong fucking thread.

Maybe we should hop in the V-Diet forum posting pictures in other peoples threads of ourselves and talking about how we’re trying to bulk up.

It wouldn’t be very productive but it may be pretty funny.

That forum gives me the deep willies.

I finally broke the 17 inch mark just a few months ago…18, here I come!

Hey guys figured id ask those who have made it.
I am 5’7 164 lbs with 15.5 inch arms shooting for 17.
gaining weight is a challange for me.
-Should I train arms once or twice a week? (I have been reading contradictory things)
-How much weight should I be looking to gain?

I’d say roughly 30 pounds of weight gain. Whether you train them once or twice a week is secondary to making sure you keep moving more weight for more reps.

Mine are a touch over 18 cold, like 18 1/4, I’ve always had more success with tri size than my bi’s, If i could ever get my biceps to respond as good i think I could make a run for 20 heh heh. These are recent I just started back lifting after about a year layoff.

I started lifting at 14 probably 135lbs (prolly too young really) and was serious by 15 and have been on and off for 17 years. I’ve always lifted natural, and ive always kept my size for the most part even on layoffs for injuries, work, etc., I’m planning on trying to cut down to 205, so i’ll post again if/when i get there.
