Keep it coming…
I dont know shit about posing, but have you been working on your mandatories?
I’ve followed a number of logs for competitors, and their coaches typically have them checking in with mandatory show poses both for physique checks, and for posing critiques.
I believe @RT_Nomad is the most qualified person here to critique your poses.
If OP is entering the physique division, I have very little knowledge of the mandatory poses of Men’s Physique. I do know that they cannot do any of the “let me see some freaking muscles poses.”
Now, if OP is doing Classic or Open contests, I can help.
Planning on mens physique. I dont think i have the size or legs for classic. But things may change in the next 13 weeks, so we shall see.
I am almost positive that a flexed bicep is not a mandatory pose. I believe the only way to get away with a flex biceps would be transitioning from one pose to another. I really don’t know the Men’s Physique rules. It came after I had quit judging contests. All National Judges were tested on the rules of bodybuilding, in my case the NPC rules near the end of them being under the AAU.
Just a notion I have about the origin of Men’s Physique is that it was developed to choose the best muscular male model.
Correct. There are only 2 poses for physique front and back. Just did it for the bicep check.lol
I know that I am highly biased, but I would prefer you not do Men’s Physique. You do have long lines in your quads. That is a good start.
After my first contest, I was told and I could plainly see that my thighs had much room for improvement. They were my worst body part. My plan was to make legs my highest priority. I even improved them enough to win Best Legs in a contest. I have noticed that those with large upper arms can build large thighs.
