1 Training Session, 2 Gym Crimes!

In the middle of a set of barbell rows, late at night, I was interrupted by a gym employee(!) asking if I was “using THIS (pointing to a BOSU someone had left on the floor, off to the side).” I stopped, glared at him, and pointedly said “No.” He looked at me funny as I stared at him. I wanted to make sure he was done before I started up again. Why he did it, we can debate, but anyone who works in a gym and clearly looks the part should know to never do that.

I don’t know where his head was at but now, he only addresses me when before or after I’ve left the free weights area.

Haha some lady (60+ years) asked me if I needed a spot on my warm-up set yesterday. I had 225 on the bar and I was in position with my headphones on. [/quote]

She just wanted to feel your ass glide down her feeble wrinkly frame while she spotted you. That’s all.

Must be a rash of dumbasses…

Tuesday place was packed…

smith’s full of guys benching 105, w 20 minute rests…

any I collect my 45’s and 25’s take bar from incline bench to dead lift…

loading weight on for first set… guy asks if I’m using the bench… Another guy goes to cop the plates I just collected… I said “excuse me”, loudly (headphones to drown out the pop)… He keeps walking couple more excuse me’s and I have to tell him I’m using the plates… Later see them team curling 107 on the preacher bench for 3" ROM…

Then another backs up into the bar while I’m dead lifting. I didn’t drop it on him… Turns out his work out partner needs 3 guys to “spot” his bench…
