Zraw's First BBing Show

Eyebrows are looking ripped. Srs

Looking amazing man
I have a question
If I remember right you said you did DC before you started with John meadows and switched to a normal body part split
Do you think you have responded well with the slightly lower frequency on the split then compared to DC? I’m asking this because I’ve always worked a muscle twice a week and I was thinking about switching to once a week typical volume split just to experiment.

If I can i’d ideally go 11pounds lighter to be at the top of the 176-187 weigjt class but i really have no idea how much I can still lose and my weight has been going up this week lol[/quote]
LOL That’s a problem I would LOVE to have!

Shit is really coming together. Well done, sir.

For the off-season:

I’m far from being good at spotting weak body parts but to me your legs are looking a little thin. Not sure how to explain it well but I mean the top part - adductors perhaps. The tear drops look fine. You know what I mean? I’m the opposite - my tear drops are blah but my legs are pretty thick at the top. Someone sees that as well or am I talking out of my ass?

Do skip and JM communicate at all just to try to sync up the diet and training a bit? I’ve always been curious about this when guys hire two different coaches.

How often are you communicating with each of them? Is it pretty much everyday when you’re this close to the show?

Definitely some inspiring stuff here. It blows my mind to think about where you’ll be in 5, 10, 15 years!

I think I responded well to this yes but also responded well to having more than 1 exercise per bodypart per workout

I currently hit chest shoulders and triceps twice a week

If you’ve been doing the same thing for a long time your body would benefit from some change, IMO

I just hope I dont end up at 190 and be one of the lightest of my weightclass

Then again Aaron Clark was the lightest heavyweight at the Nationals and he won and looked to be one of the biggest guy

I know what you mean, my leg used to lack a lot of ‘width’. I think I improved them and that they are actually a strong bodypart (quads) but could still be way better with more width.

For offseason (which is going to be 1year+) ill be focusing on overall back thickness and lats, legs and triceps… while also making sure the rest gets bigger

Unlees im not aware of this they dont communicate, and its not needed either. Skip just needs to know how often I workout and that its fairly high volume and John just needs to know my diet is in check

I communicate with them pretty much every day yes

5 years is too long, I give myself 1.5year

Will you be hiring someone to do your off season diet/training?

I’ll be working with JM for the whole year as far as training is concerned

Having worked with skip during prep, offseason and to just lean down I feel like I can do it relatively well myself. If i were to prep again i’d rehire him

John and I talked about doing his new program which is higher frequency, if im not mistaken its 8 workouts/week

I think I’ve seen him describe a routine with higher frequency like that on another site and it looked interesting. Working with him throughout your off season will be sick. I hope you keep this thread/another updated as you progress.

And if Biotest would like me to :stuck_out_tongue:

Time to make these veins pop out

Hey man. Just wanted to let you know that this thread is awesome and it’s the first one I check. Your progress is pretty crazy. Especially since your getting better at posing all the time while getting more muscular and leaner. I’m working with JM too. He’s such a cool dude and just seems like a genuinely really nice person. Anyway I bet you’ll see some great gains working with him off season since you’ve already seen a noticeable improvement in such a short time. Hope your prep keeps going smooth man.

These kind of comments really get me smiling and keep me motivated!!

I agree with JM he’s an awesome trainer and yeah im looking forward to a longgggggggg offseason

In the past I was aways using spring to lean down and be ready for summer… this year I wont. I dont plan on being mega soft during summer but I plan on being in gaining mode all year long, which is gonna be a first

As far as my prep is concerned, ive leaned down some… did my 10 x 45mins cardio last week (still got this week to do that) and my weight hasnt gone down… its actually gone up…

Pre refeed yesterday I was 196.6 and today im 203.4
