I’ll just use my Iron Man suit

Not the jetpack im thinking of… I’m thinking more of Iron Man style flight

This would be cool in place of a helo. less skill/maintenance required. pretty good take off landing distance as well.

Well, if we are going to completely leave the world of physics behind (like zombies don’t – although 28 days is plausible) I’ll expose myself to gamma rays, become the hulk when threatend, and just tear zombie heads off.
I’ll also do it to my girlfriend, who will become She-hulk, and we’ll have hulk sex.

Side Note:
You dont think there is the technology out there for jet packs with longer than 30 seconds of flight? You think its really leaving the world of physics behind?
We’re talking top secret government tech test facilities with seemingly endless budgets not random inventors making videos and putting them on youtube.
but back on topic… hulk sex would be pretty interesting to watch
Zombie-Hulk!!!

I almost posted this earlier, but didn’t know how realistic it would be. I fully expect a zombocolypse to break out at some point and want all my bases covered. Now I just need to find a friend that can operate a helicoptor.
How about Alcatraz? Or some similar fortified/walled island? This doesn’t account for human invasion, but nothing will.
Then again, maybe it does. Any assault on an island would have to come by sea, as the aforementioned zombie issue would prevent mobilization from nearby land. So if you could get to Alcatraz with a reasonable garrison and plan to defend from sea, you might make a go of it.
I mean, if you’re attacked by air or by battleships–well, you’re better off fighting zombies back onland IMO. What’s sad is that in the event of a zombilical apocalypse we’d be killing one another as fast as the zombies were killing us; they’d be walking around all day bumping into one another.
We just about deserve what’s coming to us…

The problem with an island is that if you run out of fuel you are fucked. That is why a large open area with high walls with some look out towers is best.

Actually, I’ll just stay in Israel.
We all have machine guns. Our houses are already fortified, and we have able (and intelligent and organized) civilian and military reserve forces, with all sorts of nasty shit.
Plus, we’ve been surrounded by zombies for 100s of years. Lots of experience dealing with brain-dead killers.[/quote]
know what’s funny about this? In World War Z Israel was the only country to get it right…
If you had a large enough group of trustworthy and reliable people I think the best place to occupy is a castle. (Much easier to accomplish in Europe, rather than North America)
They are the perfect structures to keep things OUT and keep what’s IN safe.
Multiple rings of walls in case something bad happens.
Room for farming, livestock ect…
If you can defend the castle agaisnt actual people as well, you can pretty much hold out there forever. The most difficult part in my opinion would be access to water. But there are some castles which actually have underground water resevoirs, though that’s a bit more rare.
Dead Snow [Død Snø] Trailer - YouTube but nothing beats: NAZI ZOMBIES!!!
^Bre … that movie made me laugh so damn much … best part is when the last two guys are staring at the company of Zombie Nazi’s on the hill and there’s a mexican standoff of sorts … You see the look of utter defeat on the two guys faces

Apparently, it was made on an extraordinarily low budget… IMO the other brilliant cinematic moment is when hot chick seduces Norwegian Chris Farley look alike onto the shitter for a good fuck and then gets bitten by a Nazi Zombie. This movie is full my two favorite things: Surprises and STIHLs.
I’m waiting for a Heisenburg cameo. Nothing is more bad-ass than a meth cooking scientist zombie hunter with explosive bags of whatever the fuck that explosive stuff was he used in the drug dealers drug pad.
Soooo…
I have seen the first episode and I am not disapoint.
It is more post-apocalyptic than gory which I think is a must for a tv series and it follows the comics closely.
in case anyone wants to watch it now
