Zombie Lovers Unite!

This show is really well done. The acting, the tension, the story arc, the believability in a pretty unbelievable situation. I’m pretty pumped for next episode, and next season can’t get here soon enough.

^agree 100% … they casted this very well. As much as I’m pumped about a second season I’m a little disappointed they’re making me wait until next year … fuckers

As far as this last episode, great story. I felt bad for Jim, but I knew it was coming. Also felt bad for Andrea, but I like how she handled the situation.

Next episode looks bad ass…too bad it’s the season ender :frowning:

^^^Yeah, looks like they’re gonna cram a shit ton of awesome into that 40+ minutes. Even though I’ve dvr’d every episode I’m gonna buy season 1 when it comes out. Don’t watch a lot of tv but this is the best overall show I’ve seen in a long time.

I love this show. This episode was heavy on the emotions (when blondie turned into a zombie and touched her sisters face, then tried to eat her was awesome!) That chick was bad ass for blasting her zombie sister… so sweet.

Sucks that next episode is the last of the season but what can you do? I still dont understand why they dont swoop up some of those 50 cals outside and mount them on that RV. That would be siiiiiiiiick! haha

Hang tight brother, trust me if they continue like they have been Its going to be a wild ride. I loved the books but seeing this with real people just adds something to it that the Graphic novels could not touch. Whoever is directing is giving much respect to the books.

All I can say is the books showed that when the shit hits the fan that Women and Kids (which most zombie movies over look) can be just as bad ass if not more that the usual male hero.

I totally agree, everytime they pass down military equip idk why don’t they scavage weapons and ammo. He raided his police armory and went back for the guns by pass by .50 machine guns in the city and outside the CDC. I almost wanted to grab the M-16 sticking up from the barricades as they walked by it, argh.

On another note, does anyone else think it’s werid that medical officer/scientist is in a locked down secure building that doesn’t appear to be penatrated all by himself? They obviously had time to setup a military perimeter and lock down the building. In that time, wouldn’t you think they would have staffed it with a team of CDC personal?

If it really comes down to it, one researcher with samples and supplies for years is worth more
than hundreds of holed up soldiers with supplies for weeks.

Also, what do you hope to achieve with really big guns against zombies?

the same thing that you hope to achieve with small guns against zombies… dead zombies

But small guns have lighter ammunition, less kickback, and are overall more awesome when it comes to delivering headshots.

Carrying a minigun around seems like overkill.

thats why i said to mount them on the RV. I think in a zombie apocalypse you’re not going to be too picky when you see guns and ammo lying around.

“overall more awesome when it comes to delivering headshots?” Have you ever shot something with a 50 cal? Its totally awesome

is there such a thing as overkill if you’re in a zombie apocalypse? I think not

You don’t carry heavy artillery for a zombie invasion. It only slows you down. This is Zombie 101. The zombies are slower than you and you don’t want to do anything to put them on par with you. They already have tactical advantages (no sleep, pain, hunger, and numbers). Carrying around heavy ass equipment will only get you dead.

I’m a zombie-phobe. I know my stuff!

I meant more than one scientist. That center had to have normally teams of scientists/researchers working there. Remember how big the command center was.(Though in real life i don’t it would be that big with all those terminals. Multiple labs/offices with teams of personal. Plus all the additional people that would have been assigned there with an outbreak on that scale. My point is what happen. Could the virus originated there and killed all but him. Could everyone else got evacuated to a more secure site and he stayed behind to work on a cure. (he supposedly was trying to communicate to someone.)

Big guns mean small pieces of zombies. a single .50 can completely destroy crowds of walkers. headshots wouldn’t matter as much as there wouldn’t much left them.

You couldn’t carry around and fire a 50 cal. For 1. It weighs over a hundred pounds and 2. There would be no way to fire it (if you were retarded enough to try you’d break any bone in your body that was behind the gun)

I said vehicle mount it.

I would assume the weapons were empty, otherwise the people would not be dead.

x2…

In the coming attractions the guy from the CDC, said the French were the last to put up a fight…THE FRENCH? come on?

No joke. It would be Israel, as we are surrounded by zombies already and know how to deal.

The Zombie Survival Guide (a book) said that semi-auto rifles are supposedly best (work of fiction, of course, don’t get your panties in a bunch), because it slows you down so you can make each shot count (headshots of course).

I was a little bugged that they didn’t grab the gun (I think it was an FN SCAR with an ammo box and a 50 Cal) in the foreground in the CDC scene, but I guess they had other things on their mind lol.

sneak peek video for next week, last episode till next season

zzzzzz

That would certainly be more realistic…The Israelis would Krav Maga their rotten asses!
