Even if they weren’t dull, it is hard as hell to cut through that metal, especially when time is of the essence because you think you are about to be eaten.

Either way, I like the show, but they pissed me off with that last episode by being so damned relaxed at camp to even allow that to happen. They already knew that the “undead” were leaving the city because they killed one last ep. They were basically having a party outside with NO ONE on watch when they got attacked.

I mean, going to go piss ALONE?!!

Look, this is basic scary movie survival. If the end of the world happens like this, don’t ever fucking go to piss by yourself…and especially don’t say, “I’ll be right back”…because you won’t be back…at least not in one piece.

I was thinking the same thing but I think the people in the camp were just getting too complacent. They were starting to feel safe and comfortable. All this good stuff started happening (like getting out of the city and finding the husband/dad) that they started to relax… not anymore!

That scene at the end in the camp was sick.

EDIT: I posted a reply to this thread yesterday but it didnt show? I was saying that I think one hand redneck dude brought the zombies to camp. I bet he either had them follow him or he baited them into the back of the van and brought them to the camp for revenge… It didnt post and homeboy up there^^ beat me too it (kinda)

Anyone who doesnt already know from reading the comics have an opinion on that?

I don’t know man. This is all new to them and I’m sure completely surreal, so it’d be easy to “get comfortable” and let their collective guards down. The old guy in the fishing cap addressed that the zombie eating the deer was the first one they’d seen that far into camp and that since they were so high up the zombies couldn’t hear or smell them, so they’d be safe. It seems like a pretty cool way to slowly lead into our [and their] realizing that nowhere’s safe. Also, I wonder if the guy who was digging the graves “visions” are gonna play a future role? He dug exactly the right amount of graves for the body count. So far this show has just the right amount of cheese and that would be laying it on pretty thick.

Agreed on them getting too lazy.
However, as a civilian, it’s pretty damn hard to effectively guard a camp like this at night time. They didn’t have night vision goggles and if you light a fire, you can maybe see 3 feet in front of you but everyone can see your ass.

Then again, it’s pretty unrealistic that zombies would be able to navigate through complete darkness and launch a coordinated attack. All of their limbs would be broken and useless and most of 'em would end up in holes, bear traps or in the lake.

No one else expected a zombie to attack that guy when he was tied up?

I’m actually kind of glad it’s diverging from the comic book series. It makes it more fresh and everything while still keeping the spirit.

I did, especially as everyone started to walk away, lol couldn’t believe they would leave him tied to a tree by himself.

God I love this series!I really was not expecting the ending of the last ep.

I also think he was the one responsible for leading the pack of zombies to the camp. Perfect “vengeance” in his eyes probably. [/quote]

I thought the same exact thing. It was unlikely that a huge horde of zombies just happened upon the camp - I mean maybe, but I also thought maybe Merle led them back to the camp as revenge. Although he knew his brother was there - he probably wouldn’t want to sic zombies on them if his brother was in camp…

His brother even said he would be bringing “vengeance” back to camp, pretty certain it was Merle.

plus who’s to say that Merel wasn’t aware that his brother wasn’t at camp … maybe he saw them looking for him in the city? Just a thought… I mean Merle was the one who more than likely took the truck…

New episode was kinda shit until the ending. ENDING WAS FUCKING AWESOME. Currently shitting myself in anticipation of the next episode.

Anyone else feel panicked when the cop guy lost it at the end? This is the only show on tv worth watching. I’ve never had an emotional tie to anything like this before. Its great…so realistic.

I felt like I was there…so desperate…

It really blows that there is just one more! Bastards!

World War Z did the same thing by the end Cuba was a democracy as was China, Isreal was untocuhed by the plague, and everyone was afraid to go near Korea due to the residents taking refuge in underground tunnels and if they opened the tunnels would they find 2 million Koreans or 2 million zombies
