Today was a good day.
The chemistry Nobel prize was one of the project ideas I came up with prior to doing my college science project --(I can tell Iām tired⦠almost slipped with the college name. Not that it really matters but Id like to not give away a ton of info)-- : a high surface area metal compound used for a catalyst, among other things. So does this mean I think on the same level as a Nobel laureate? I hope so. Maybe after I finish my project concerning moss (if I dont decide to keep going further), I can work with something like that.
I ran out of yarn for my sweater Iām making. I need to get more. I will shift my focus into making a scarf.

These weekend, and the next few, Il be able to work with my brother to make a bit of money, so that nice.
I think today I will practice my clarinet a little bit.
I have the pattern for the crochet scarf memorized in the head so thatās good. I can just do it.

ugh⦠my stomach is unhappy with me. I only had a large Italian sandwich for lunch and a pound of fish for dinner⦠what gives? (if you canāt tell Iām joking⦠Iām joking⦠mostly)
My knees, and to a much lesser extent my hips, have been hurting on and off for awhile. ive noticed that they feel worse when i have my shoes on. When I take them off, my knees stop hurting. Any ideas why? What can I do to stop this knee pain? Its not affecting my squats, its just annoying when im walking up the stairs and I have to slow down some, and when I have to walk with a slight limp. Its really irritating.

I have to do my cardio workout today. Probably will do a run⦠Probably would help a bit with shedding a little adipose tissue. And cleaning my diet up.

Im going to weigh myself in today. I know Iām 160lbs minimum. I think Iām a little heavier than that now though since after eating my dinner I was 165lbs⦠thatās a significant increase in weight, even if most of it is food. I didnāt eat 5 lbs. At most 2-3 pounds I would say. Im thinking about cutting my calories back if Im not able to get in my healthy foods.
It doesnāt look like Iām gaining fat though, but I feel like I am? I donāt think its JUST my core pushing out the fat. But at the same time it might be. When I grab the fat on my stomach, it feels like its the same amount of fat Iāve been able to grab the last year.
No its not.. Thatās a lie. I think I am gaining fat. I need to clean up the diet. Having fat is not bad (at the levels I have it), but I would like to not gain a ton.
I was thinking about it, and i think ive ruled out the possibility that im gaining muscle mass. Still, Im cleaning up my diet

I am 30lbs heavier than I was in September last year. Iāve made alot of progress. I remember when my bench press 3rm was 95lbs, squat was 135, pullups were 2-3 in a row. I remember when I started doing OHP in spring I was working with a 45. I could barely squeeze out a rep. But I still tried, and within a week or two I was getting stronger with it. Then when I started trying to progress doing only 8-12 reps, I was wondering why I couldnāt get it heavier. Low reps are much better than high reps when it comes to building real strength.

I think Im going to have beef be a large part of my diet. I know how to cook it now, so I can cook a bunch and have it throughout the week. I like beef alot.
Iāve become a lot more undisciplined recently. Im going to work on that. I need to crack down on fixing my bed time to a specific time. 8:00 is good. And I need to stop sleeping in (with an uncontrolled manner) on weekends, its so hard to get out of bed if I stay awake in it for more than 2 seconds. I can just set my alarm for 6:00 and Il be fine. Im going to keep doing my clean diet.

I was doing some research and I donāt know if I want to choose chemistry as a major in college. There are soo many classes you have to take and it is supposed to be such a time drain. I do want to do chemistry but I donāt want to have to do ALL that, just to have a bunch of debt and have to do even more studying if I want to get a good job. Maybe chemistry can be like a minor, but Iām not doing all that.

Personal trainer is a good gig/job, but not a career.
Sometimes, a good approach for employment isnāt to necessarily think about āwhat would be fun to doā, but instead āwhat am I good at?ā
I majored in political science in college. I had no desire to work in politics: I was just the top theology student in my high school. Theology and government have a lot of overlap, I went that way. Was a good fit, and I use what I learned all through out my nearly 20 year career.
