Im setting myself a goal to have as little waste as possible. I cut up our cantelope we got, and im roasting the seeds and the ānettingā around them in the oven. The rinds we tossed near the woods for if the deer want them. Eventually we might get a compost bin and put all of our plant scraps in there, but we donāt have one yet so free food for the deer.
I will do the same with the squash seeds too. Might do that now actually

Toasted cantalope seeds are good. Adding salt is great. The seeds are a bit tough but I like them. If you boil them for 10 minute prior they should be softer

Squash is in the oven, on the first 15 minutes before i have to turn the pieces. Im using butter and maple syrup. This will be more of a treat food than a main meal food. Didnt use a ton of maple syrup, maybe about 2 tbsp.

The only meat we have that i dont have to cook is canned tuna. I cant cook at the moment because parents are napping. I canāt have the tuna because we only have an electric can opener, which might wake up dad (he sleeps on the porch next to the kitchen). I cant cook, and almost the only thing there is to eat is crappy carbs and sugar. Soon they will get up though, so thats good.

Im going to try to consume a bit of apple cider vinegar (I had white vinegar just with the chips and cheese but I shouldnāt do that I think that messed my stomach up) Its supposed to help fat loss, and from the scientific papers I glanced at, they concluded that acetic acid (the main component of vinegar) increases the rate at which fatty tissue is oxidized¹
I will start having 2 tbsp a day diluted in water, 1 tbsp before breakfast, and one before dinner.
I ran 2 miles with only a 5-10 second break in the middle to drink some water and take my shirt off. I also only breathed through my nose. So thatās improvement. I then had to go to the bathroom, which was quick so I decided to go for the rest of the run. Stomach wasnāt happy with that, only about 50 feet in and I decided, āYeah, noā. I would have liked to do the run. I was dreading it at first but its really not even that bad. I forgot I liked running.
I think Iām going to make my personal training class based on Tactical Barbell. I was going to do it where that was a unit along side the main aspect of bodybuilding, but⦠I donāt want people to be bodybuilders. I want them to be functional. Most of them I donāt think understand what will soon be to come. They need to be ready. So Iām going to be scrapping EVERYTHING I did, and start from scratch. No problem though since its mostly figured out.
For this club, Iām assuming that at least some of the people will be super out of shape, never having worked out in their life, so they will need some easy version of base building. Any suggestions?

318 Kcal left, and a good deal of animal protein left. I donāt feel like eating though. Its getting really late
Instead of doing reps for the strength endurance sessions, go by time. These are known as āTango Circuitsā, as opposed to Alpha or Bravo circuits. This is on page 104 of the First Edition. This is far more approachable to an unconditioned athlete, as theyāre just going to get as many reps done as they can in the time.

No apple cider vinegar. Tried diluting it in water. nope. I cant do it yet. I donāt need it either. Iām really not that chunky. I do have a little more fat, but its not a lot. I think its mostly just I need to do more stomach vacuums to pull my abs in a bit. When Iām completely relaxed I can kinda see them but they arenāt flat. Still, no excuse for me not to clean up my diet.
I counted up my money. $460 from summer work, and $601 in total this year. $399 left until my first $1,000
Snack:
1 vanilla cake donut (I know this wasnt healthy, but it was a very long time since we had gotten them. It will be the only one i eat)

I hope my parents will still let me go to church. For 3 weeks I said I was going for a walk when really I was just walking to the church. They caught me today, I assume because I was wearing my new, nice clothes, for a walk. I had a feeling they would figure out. I feel really bad for lying to them. I didnāt want to have to lie, but it felt like the only way I could go to church.

I better do something productive today.
I want to get a homestead/farm when Iām older, and I mean soon, when Iām 18, 19, 20, when I move out I want to get a homestead. Thatās what Iām saving up for, after all.
So, I need to make money. I have lots of yarn, and skill in crocheting. So I will crocheting things to sell. My teacher friend said if I sent pictures that she would advertise for me. So⦠Thatās what Iām doing.
