squat 335x3,385x3,425x10
front squat 225x10,315x3,225x3(right knee had a lot of pain so I shut it down)
BW lunges and plyo jumps 3 sets
1.calf raise 2 plates 30 seconds x 3 sets
2.ab rolls 135x10,6,6
Limited time today so I finished this in 35 minutes. Everything felt great until the third set of front squats. Front squats really push the limits of my flexibility.
260 lbs today.[/quote]
425x10. Pretty danged diesel.
that is allot to move in 35 minutes…
I bet your conditioning is soaring between this and the added body weight work
425x10 on squats and 185 x10 for cleans- that is allot of cleans.
KMC, I don’t know about soaring but I don’t lie on the floor as often btween sets gasping for breath.
Joe, it was fast or nothing tonight. Kids had hockey practice and then I had to help with homework.
Skid, the reps just kept coming tonight. Usually I would have been gassed at 5 reps. Must be my clean livin’.
Nice work my slimming friend. I actually love working under the clock. I think long term keeping you workouts at a faster pace produces better results, even when going for maximal strength.
I can’t do it that fast. In order to get the kind of work I want while non-carbing, I have had to really extend the rest between sets. Without that, i would have had to drop my training maxes even farther. then i would be lifting girly weights, and that would suck.
Pete, I’ve always moved fast through workouts. But yesterday I had limited time so I really hauled ass.
MJ,I had a burst of energy yesterday even though I only had a green salad for carbs all day. Just went with the flow and had a good workout. My legs were already aching last night(couldn’t sleep because of it) and are worse today. I hope to pull the sled around later today.
Great work eco. Doesn’t look like dropping weight has hurt you at all.

Thanks LS. The deads and squats are hanging in there but the bench is sinking like a stone. When this dieting experiment is over (when I hit 240 lbs) I hope the bench bounces back quickly.

military 145x5,165x3,185x10
Thats all I felt like doing tonight.
wish i could do that much
x2
I’d be crushed by that 185.
Id be crushed by 165 ![]()
nice work
There I was, pattin’ meself on the back about gettin a 90 lb barbell up ONCE - I look over here and you’re knockin’ off 10 reps of nearly my bodyweight.
I ain’t wrasslin’ you, nossir.
Thanks MJ and Joe. I didn’t warm up enough last night and my left shoulder was aching so I got pissed and cut it short. My own fault.
I’m thinking about dropping bench and militaries for a bit. Give the shoulder joints some rest.

You’re just front squating about twice your bodyweight.
nice pressing
Thank you Peter.

During hockey season I’m going to have to workout after 9 PM a lot of nights. I just got done this workout. 235 snapped right up but I couldn’t get under it. Have to keep doing cleans and front squats because I really want to be able to properly execute the second part of a clean. I’m going to see what its like not benching for a while. One less thing to worry about.
are you prehabbing your shoulders like a good little boy?

Thats exactly what I’m doing MJ. I should have done it a while ago but my bench was going up. But now I’m dieting and the bench is tanking so its easier to give it a break.
