Zerchers are the Shiznit

Dang. I didn’t realize you were so handsome 8*)

Great lifting. I hope to be hitting your numbers in a couple more years. in the meantime, I turned 40 first, so I win!!! wait a minute

I take being compared to Mr. Meat as a compliment. Now just to hit his numbers.

Hel, its well known that shaving your head combined with a goatee will increase bench press.

Meat, don’t you remember?? I’ve seen you in asschaps. At the club.

Bline, I don’t know if you’re laughing at my fat man breathing or you’re serious. I just breath when I need to.[/quote]

i thought we’ve been over this already. we were not to speak of that night ever again. that was an “experimental” stage. besides, it’s not ghey unless you make eye contact.

how did a comment on two powerlifters who both where similar stuff to train in get to assless chaps.

I mean I know not allot of stuff is sized for cement mixing trucks but I draw the line at golden lycra mantard

It’s an example of the Law of Thread Deterioration. There’s a complex mathematical formula for it, but it basically states that a thread subject will go completely off-topic in about 5 posts.

And I never mention events from the ‘experimental period.’ I do miss the spooning though.

5/9

deadlift 135x8,225x5,315x3,405x2,495x1,545x1,600x0

Today was supposed to be a deload but I felt strong, so I thought. 545 went right up. I thought 600 was a go. I video taped both. I’ll put 545 on here soon. I have trouble breaking off the floor. I rack pulled 585x5 just below my knee last week fairly easily. Meat, I have some questions I’ll shoot your way later.

Nice pulls man!!!

Nice pullin’ brudder! And damn, you do look like Meatus, too damn funny!

I concur with Steely and bunny, thats some damn nice pulling

No one is going state other wise. Those are huge numbers. Soon the struggle will be with 700# and 600# will be a distant memory that felt easy going up. Keep up the awesome work. Stay strong brother!

A1. dips 25lbs 10x9,15x1
A2. zercher squat 155 10x10

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I’m taking a break for a bit from worrying about hitting new PRs. Its stressing me out. Have a good week all.

sometimes you just need to hit the reps

If you feel stressed about where your PRs are at, just think of me.

Soon all stress and pain will magically disappear and you will a smug contentment.

squat lockout 705 holdx30 seconds
BB row 225x9,275x9,225x9
cleans 155 9x3
deadlift 315x9,9,11
RDL 315x9
chin up 3 sets
leg curl 3 sets

Felt good yesterday. A very slim 257 lbs. Turn side ways and I disappear. My right shoulder kept me from benching over the past week. A little time and self rehab and I’ll be back benching in no time.

!!!

Has anyone used a safety squat bar, top squat attachment or hex-deadlift bar? If so are they worth adding to my home gym?

I have a safety squat bar and a top squat. I like the safety squat bar best because you can also use it for good mornings. It can be a real shoulder saver. It also forces you to squat more upright taking some of the stress off your knees and lower back.
