Squatting solo can be a little scary. Last year I got myself so I am ok by myself up to mid 500s. I always have to remind myself of the saying ‘If you aren’t scared, it ain’t heavy enough’.
‘If you aren’t scared, it aint heavy enough’, I like it Pete. What a great frame of mind to be in when squating. I’m stealing this saying. Thanks
On a max set I will think of that, crank up the ipod, and then think ‘its just up and down’.

This workout took quite awhile because I had to run to the bathroom after each set.(protein powder, tight belt, heavy weight…)
Ab rolls and leg curls tomorrow.

Always nice to see my bench weight going over someone’s head. Good work!
Damn Eco, that is some good weight you are moving around there. And to think, this is just the beginning of this cycle of training for you, correct? Looks like we are gonna see some big weights moved.

Thanks Skid. I just want to be able to press my own bodyweight overhead (like you can).

I’ll second that. I don’t know how I missed the vids in your profile, they were awesome! Looks like a great basement gym you got there, toys everywhere…I think I’ll add on 70lbs. of bodyweight, then I could squat 500 too right?..wait, nevermind.
Great training, keep it up.
that is some fine ass pressing and good training.
Good work Eco.
ps you just OH pressed what I rep for front squats .
NICE work.

Thanks Joe, Zild and KMC.
I like the basement gym Zild. I haven’t made any additions in quite awhile.
Anyone tried cluster reps. Reading some stuff Dave Tate and Poliquin have written on them. Sounds intresting.
Never tried clusters, might give them a whirl next time around.

lol! Me too… I do clusters of 1’s… lol!
Nice training Eco. I thought that “I, Bodybuilder” is more or less product pushing… haven’t looked into it, just what I have been reading. Something about a product called “Anaconda” I think. I already have one (Anaconda) so did not go any further, lol!
