Zach Snyder's Sucker Punch

“Alice in Wonderland with machine guns”

This looks interesting…IF…you’re a fan of Zach Snyder’s work…but how can you not be? Visuals look insane…and I love the Lords of Acid track.

Young women, fire, weapons, young women, dragons, angry dudes, violence, great CGI, weak plot… what’s NOT to like?

So anyway, The Expendables will be coming out soon. It should be awesome.

I see how y’all are…don’t forget who told you so.

Oh…and Machete will make The Expendables look like The Little Rascals…Stallone is Alfalfa.

LOL!

Looks good.

So anyway, Machete and Expendables should be good.

To hell with all of you!!! Ya’ll don’t realize how much I hate the fact that I can’t see any of these flicks until they come out on DVD. Or…someone out here actually manages to download them. Just you wait! I’ll have my moment!

Awsome… that chick was in that ‘lemony snickets(?)’ movie.

But its seems hella random - shoulda named it ‘Clusterfuck’ instead of ‘Suckerpunch’ IMO.

Btw - cool avatar Wol… Deb from Dexter is win.

It looks amaizing. But I’m not sure I get the feel I’m not going to like the movie. I need my woman to be a little more dirty to pull off that stuff they are doing in this film.

I’m impressed.

For the record, I largely dislike Tim Burton’s work, but Alice in Wonderland was pretty good.

Weird title. Looks like a fun movie though.

"Set in the 1950s, it tells the story of Baby Doll (Browning), who is trying to hide from the pain caused by her evil stepfather and lobotomy. She ends up in mental institution in Brattleboro, Vermont and while there she starts to imagine an alternate reality. She plans to escape from that imaginary world but to do that she needs to steal five objects before she is captured by an unknown adversary.

She has 5 days to escape before being lobotomized. In order to cope with the situation, she enters the hyper-real world of her imagination, and the lines between reality and dream begin to blur. She is joined with friends who are inmates from the institution. Lessons learned in the said fantasy world could help the girls escape their real-world fate."

^^^So it’s based on a true story then.

Looks like a bad excuse to just be able to have lots of random shit going on. For instance, dragons, samurai, monsters firing machine guns, and I believe I saw WWII in there.

It’ll be like ‘One Flew The Cuckoo’s Nest’… but in comic-book-adapted-to-movie form! Hooray!

Would anybody suggest see The Watchman? I was so excited to see it, but apparently it was terrible so I never went to see it.
