You've GOT to Be KIDDING?

I think it’s about time Tigger got his comeuppance. He’s always wierded me out with all that bouncing around. Too much epehdra, I guess. Anyway, 100 Acre Wood justice is what I call it.
Hey, I wanna get my picture taken with Tigger!!

But still, he barely grazed him, and the kid was blatantly doing something. I hate people and retarded lawsuits. Speaking of which:

How some of those people got awarded money boggles my mind.
this is crazy…are those lawsuits for real, please tell me it is a joke…

please…

…what makes this possible and why do they are they always awarded so high amounts of money? Has it something to do with your legal system I don’t think this could happen in Germany (and ours is far far!! from perfect) and if they award money it is never so high.

this is an honest question and not bashing the US legal system.

We have too many lawyers in the US so it is very inexpensive to file a frivoulous lawsuit.

Most of these suits do not make much money and they rarely go to court.

There is usually a payoff to drop the suit because companies don’t like to take chances in court. There is always a risk of a crazy jury giving a huge award.

Disney may just give him a small fraction of what he is asking for so he will just go away.

i fucking hate people like that.

I bit into a chunk of glass while eating
a spinach roll and I didn’t get sick or anything so I didn’t sue.

What a douche a kid. Same goes for his father.

If you watch the video you can clearly see the kid is doing something. Like just about everyone before me has already stated.

But if you watch closely you can see Tigger’s right arm lock on the kid’s left arm. It’s apparent that Tigger is trying to stop the kid from doing something. And when he comes around with his left hand he grazes the kid’s face.

It’s cases like this when I wish I was a judge. I would laugh at the people suing, berate them for about one hour, hold them in contempt of court for something, and lock them away for a while.

I’d also fine them for wasting tax payer money by bringing this stupid lawsuit to court. And then I’d fine them some more for wasting my time as a judge.

I would then let Tigger punch the kid and his parents in the face, so they would really know what it’s like to get hit.

And that’s probably why I’m not a judge.

You’d have my vote!

I thought I read somewhere that there’s an air tube running up the back of those costumes, and he might have been squeezing it, cutting off the guy’s air supply.

Tigger should be suing them.

The basis of their defense will probably be something about how he came within inches of being blinded by his glasses almost shattering in his eyes. On a side note did anyone see Modern Marvels the other night on Disneyworld? It’s absolutely amazing how much work goes into just one day of maintaining that place that most parkgoers never know happens.

Exactly. I bit into a rusty paperclip embedded into my hamburger at a Ground Round restaurant a couple years ago.

All I got was a free dessert.

Thanks for the reply, I don’t think I could take that kind of money and look at myself in the mirror!
And the father of that boy in this Disney case sets a great example for his kids…

The fact that the kid even tried that while staring straight at his dad already says enough about the control he has in his house.

None of those lawsuits are true, they are fakes that have been circulating since 2001:

If common sense ever makes you believe that you are being told bullshit, check snopes.com to find out the truth.

Don’t forget the rusty paperclip. A little sandpaper and it’ll be good as new.

What about his mother?

Fortunately, this is highly unlikely.

Disney is notorious for having the Cobra Kai of legal teams. They fight everything tooth-and-nail, even when they are dead wrong and are likely to lose money in the process.

I suppose this is because the execs at Disney are thinking long term; spend a little more on the downstroke and get a reputation for never admitting any wrongdoing and brutally crushing any opposition, and you keep the Disney facade squeaky-clean, thus insuring billions in revenue for years to come.

Blame the scumbag lawyers and those who hire them to pursue frivolous law suits for Disney’s stance. They are only reacting to what’s coming their way.

I’m not blaming anybody, just telling it how I know it to be.

In this case though, I’m glad Disney takes this course; I hope they string this out as long as possible and cost this shitbag family and their lawyers a mint.
