Notes

-Since Im testing 1RM this week, I decided to split the deadlift/FS day into two days, gonna be doing front squat on Saturday instead.
-Finally got that 600lb deadlift i have been dreaming off since I was a little girl
-Really tho, super happy about this, after I hit 585lbs I decided fuck it, might as well go for it.
-Everything went smooth for this PR except for the lockout. I was able to get it too my knee pretty fast, but once it was about 3-4inches past my knee it took me forever to lock out. Had the hardest time bringing my hips through, will need to work on this in the upcoming months.
-Anyway, time to chase 700lbs
-Changed up the assistance work a bit to support the deadlift only day, adding in CG Bench at the end just to get some quick tricep work in for shits and gigs.
-Conditioning is improving pretty quickly so Im happy about that, will continue the same conditioning work for the time being.

The only time I ever film my lifts is when I have someone else with me, otherwise I never think about it until after the fact. Next time I hit it Ill remember to get it on film, regret not doing it now. I wanted to see the exact point where I started struggling.

Notes

  • Tested my 1RM for back squat instead of front squat, cause I felt like it
  • Got a solid PR at 475lbs, 500 gonna be going up reeeaalll sooon
  • Other than that, quick day at the gym. Hit the 1RM, did 20min of assistance work and got out.
