Your Thoughts About 'The Pump'?

any way in regards to feeling your back a couple of things that have helped me…

keeping elbows close to the body (lats)
not letting arms fully straighten at end of movement (lats and upper back)
putting an emphasis on pulling with the pinky - pulldowns (lats)
with a neutral v-grip pulling the bar apart (upper back)
dropping the weight and squeezing the contraction for 1-2 seconds (lats and upper back)[/quote]

yea i was experimenting with back tonight. pullups shred my back, nice pump too, but pulldowns i get nada from. ill try that keeping elbows close and pulling with the pinky on those.

on pullups i lower under control and then the last 1-2" i drop quick and rebound back up, man what a stretch lol, i think i got that from one of thib’s spills.

dumbbell rows and rack pulls give me a nice pump too. i guess im getting there. just gotta improve MMC and not just move the weight from point A to B. squeezing at peak contraction really helps.
